It is nice to have holidays and to escape some days from the routine of the
office. Your mind forgets responsibilities and stress. However the quality
of your holidays depend on the quality of the place you have chosen to stay.
In my case, I spent one week in the wonderful Santorini island with my
partner in the hotel Seaside in Kamari. I decided to write this review due
to the fact that I was absolutely satisfied with my choice, namely the
Seaside hotel. The hosts were really polite, friendly and ready to help me
with any upcoming issue. The quality of the room was as good as I had
expected. A big terrace in front of the sea side of Kamari and a clean and
spacious room. The swimming pool was so clean with a comfortable and
relaxing jakouzi. According to the price and comparing with other hotels I
finally realized that I have done the correct choice. To go a step further,
it is worth mentioning that the delicious Greek breakfast offered by the
hotel. Not to forget, if I am in Santorini again, I will stay in Seaside for
sure.

We have not long returned from our stay at the Seaside Hotel, Kamari. We found the hotel using tripadvisor and like many others, we have plenty of good things to say about it! Manos from day 1 via email was helpful and informative, answering all questions and being as helpful as possible. We were picked up at the airport no problem and when we arrived we were very happy with our room. It was ground floor at the back - one of the self-catering apartments. Almost brand new, very well done out, spacious and clean. Our room had all of the necessary items needed i.e. cooking facilties, hairdryer etc.

The hotel and hotel grounds are all lovely, right on the beach but at the quieter end of the resort. Manos, George and the rest of the family were always helpful and attentive. The hotel restaurant was on the beach and the food was lovely. Great Gyros and Mythos deal for 4 euros! It was lovely sitting out looking at the sea when having a spot of lunch! Breakfast was pleasant, just bread, cereal and some fruit, not fantastic, but fine.

Around the pool was lovely, nice comfortable sunbeds and although not a lot of them, never a problem to get one as most people only tend to stay for 3-4 days and are off doing trips etc. Whereas we were there 2 weeks so had time to sunbathe around the pool! Nice and quiet at the back with no passers by staring at you like some other hotels nearby.

Manos recommended a boat trip which we throughly enjoyed and a great price. We set off from Fira and visited the volcano, hot springs and a little greek island which used to be part of Santorini before the eruption. A nice trip and worth while. We also hired a car which I would definately recommend as we got to see the whole island which really stunning and vistied places such as Oia where the shopping is great and a beautiful sunset!

All in all one of our best holidays, made better with a great hotel with friendly staff and a caring family. My mum stayed in a hotel next door and Manos even offered to take her to the airport on our way home, and was always friendly even though she wasn't staying at the Seaside. We will be returning next year!

Having read all the amazing reviews and pleasant stories, we decided to try the Seaside Hotel for ourselves. What a find! From arrival to departure the family were friendly and helpful, catering to our every need.
Our room had a sea view balcony, ideal for those who enjoy watching the sunrise in the morning and the moonrise in the evening. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting.
The family run resaurant was by far the best on the island! Reasonable prices for delicious, "clean" food. Great value for money!
The pool was a refreshing oasis and always clean. More than enough sunbeds to go around.
All in all, our stay was perfect thanks to Manos, Nikos and family, and their jewel on the black beach of Kamari.

i can honestly say this was one of the best value for money holidays i have ever had, the family run this hotel very well and you come away with a smile on your face. the rooms are basic but clean and secure, the location is on the beach and the food is straight out of the ocean. i cant fault the hospitality and value for money.

we recently stayed at the seaside hotel in Kamari, whilst the hotel is well presented and family is amazing and very nice i think we must have gotten the dodgiest room compared to other people that have written reveiws. we had room 16 right near the pool, it was VERY small an dhad to accomodate the 3 of us. the bed had a matress about 5 cms thick and only 2 flat pillows were supplied. the 3rd bed was obviously a roll away that was very aged and damaged, again with a very thin matress. this was soo uncomftable that i actually took a sun bed from near the pool and slept on that in my room!

our bathroom was very aged, had no hot water the 3 days we were their and barely and water pressure out of the frail plastic pipes coming down the wall. there was also alot of mould in the tiles.

the food was very very good bar breakfast and once again service was great and not a bad location.

just stay away from room 16 and def ask for the newly built on rooms as they appeared much nicer.

Just returned from our second visit to the excellent Seaside Beach Hotel, Kamari.
We found some really cheap last minute flights through Thomsonfly & contacted Manos through the Seasides website. They had 1 room left & its easy to see why they are busy and the No2 rated Kamari hotel!

We could not fault a single thing, the 1st class service & genuine greek hospitality was second to none. The hotel is family run & we cannot thank George, Evie, Manos, Nikos & their great staff enough. We wanted a nice relaxing chill out holiday with some sightseeing & thats what we got.

The hotel has a great location right on the beachfront at the quieter end of Kamari beach.
The rooms are bright, spacious, airy & clean. The rooms are cleaned every day.
Buffet breakfast is excellent with a good choice to choose from. The rear pool area is quiet & secluded as is the beach opposite the hotel. Having visited many tavernas & restaurants before we came to the conclusion that the Seaside restaurant has to be one of the best in Kamari. The high standard of fresh food & excellent service was 1st class. We like to try as many places as possible but ended up eating at the Seaside many times.

We hired a car & toured the island with the help of Manos who arranged everything for us. Nothing is too much trouble. Door to door service to & from the airport.

During our first week we were lucky enough to see a fantastic wedding reception at the hotel. After speaking to many of the guests, they had nothing but praise for the Seaside staff for a perfect reception. We would reccomend the seaside as an ideal wedding reception location.

If your looking for a excellent value for money hotel with a great location look no further.
