Booked directly with the hotel.Giannis, the owner was helpfull and freindly. On arrival we were upgraded to a mezanine room,a separate bedroom up wooden stairs and a large room below with a sofa bed and good sized bathroom. The rooms were of a high quality, cleaned every day properly, fluffy towels were changed every day.The hotel was spotless and very well maintained and a great deal of attention to detail.Even though the hotel was less than100 yards from the main drag and beach it was pleasantly quiet.Even the low flying aircraft landing and taking off from the nearby airport were NOT annoying ,in fact quite pleasurable as their were not a lot of them.
Giannis was very laid back and friendly and was arround most of the day to help his guests. All the staff were friendly and helpfull.Would i go back to this hotel ??
Deinitely i would ,and if in Santorini i would reccomend you to do the same, you would not regret it
Thanks Giannis for a great stay at your splendid hotel

I have just got back from one of the best holidays of my life.........Santorini was amazing !!
The Hotel Santellini was also amazing...............like all the other reviews, the cleanliness of this hotel was spotless. The girls who clean the rooms & hotel area in general do a fantastic job!!
I had a lovely room overlooking the pool, with a balcony!!
Giannis & his wife are lovely welcoming people, made me feel like i was at home. I was travelling by myself, but felt like i was staying with someone's family.
It also had a nice, quiet, relaxed atmosphere, great for people who just want to chill out. There were no noisey people , when trying to sleep at night.
I would definately recommend this hotel & would like to return one day to stay again.

We stayed at the Santellini Hotel, having never been to Santorini before. The hotel was very clean in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. It was never noisy, apart from the odd plane landing in Santorini, which was quite close, but never annoying. The staff are hard working and very pleasant. Breakfasts were OK, cereals, meats, cheese, toast, Greek yoghurt and honey, and fruit juices, but it would have been good to have an option of a cooked breakfast.
This is a small hotel, but kept in tiptop condition, with all credits to the staff. All in all it was a lovely holiday, and we will definitely return in the not too distant future.

The Hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The welcome from Yanis, the owner, was second to none. He took the time to learn our names and always greated us warmly. The hotel is located within 150meters of the beach and a superb cocktail bar called Mango. There is plenty of nightlife within an easy walk.

The rooms are good quality with comfortable beds, they are cleaned daily and towels etc. were regularly changed. For safety reasons we were given a ground floor room as we had a young daughter with us which i think is a really nice touch.

Swimming pool is spotless with fresh water
Kamari is a beautiful place and I would return to this hotel again and again.

Thank you Yanis.

We booked this based on the good reviews, and the good reputation is deserved. The hotel is lovely - we were fortunate enough to get a room with mezzanine, which was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Lots of storage space - including lots of coathangers - and a good dressing table and light. Air conditioning too which is vital - even in May!

The whole hotel is tastefully decorated, and looks fresh and clean. Nice reception area with good choice of books in different languages. Breakfast room leads out to the pool area which is a nice touch.

Lovely breakfast, food always replenished and a good choice (by Greek standards). Fine pool and sun terrace, there is a bar serving drinks and cheese toasties. There is also a shower and toilet area by the pool.

The staff were hard working and friendly. Good location, too. On a side street off the promenade, with lots of shops, snack bars and restaurants nearby.

An excellent hotel, recommended without hesitation.

Me and my wife stayed 7 days in Santorini. We've traveled quite extensively over the years and have seen both ends of the quality of hotels on this green earth. Santellini however is definitely at the quality side of hotels.

When booking our trip we had some doubts of the location of the hotel, it's not exactly on the beach, although some 100m from it. But in the end we found this to be better. The beach walkway is packed with restaurants and nightclubs and of course a lot of people, which tends to get a bit noisy in the evening. So being a bit off the beach, the noise from the clubs wont bother you so much. And the hotel is actually much closer to the buss stop to Fira and other locations. And also there's a good and reliable car rental right next door and they keep their cars on a parking lot just across the street. Even the grocery store is a mere 50m away.

Our room was on the street side of the hotel so we had a nice view to the street from our balcony. We used to sit on the balcony in the afternoon and read or just watching people walk by, so relaxing. The room it self was clean, and was kept clean during our stay. From what I know, all the rooms are air conditioned. Although the air condition turns off when you leave the room or open balcony door, just keep that in mind. That wasn't too bad tho, the temperature in the room didn't seem to rice too much, not even in July.

Service in the hotel was always friendly and speedy. The staff seemed to be available pretty much any time when needed, even late at night. The hotel pool area was quite calm during our stay, Santorini is probably not the first choice for families, and neither the main choice for young, more party oriented travelers. So I guess you'll have a good chance to see some nice and calm sunbathing at the pool. We found our selfs at the pool more often than on the beach since, well, the beach is just a big pile of thumb to fist size rocks (which get really really hot during the day because their black/dark color).
