We are just completing our fifth visit to this magical island and return year after year to Sideris Sunflower because we enjoy everything about it. The welcome (at the airport) is fantastic, the apartments are well furnished and cleaned to a very high standard throughout our stay and the owners brothers Sideris, Gregory and their families cannot do enough for everyone. The gardens are amazing and the pool is maintained to a very high standard. This year we have met seven other couples from previous years and enjoyed catching up with them at the well stocked pool bar. The studios are very near extremely good restaurants and the beach. For sure we will be back next year.
Thank you so much to all the Fytros family for another great holiday, and it was nice meeting George (Sideris' son) this year.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good they either overlook the amazing gardens or the pool.

We stayed at this place for six days at the end of September. Everything was perfect, the room(with seaside view), the staff, the pool(which was very clean). A few minutes after arriving Gregory's wife showed up with some freshly made tomato fritters:) Highly recommended!

Sideris, Gregory and their family are what make this hotel - can't do enough for you, from transfers to and from the airport to letting you use another room to shower and change in before leaving (often hotels will make you check out and only hold your luggage). Whole place felt really safe and friendly. Rooms are fine, great for the price, and they are cleaned daily. Remote control air con and a safe are included. Self catering facilities are basic (we had pots and pans but no cooker?!) but had enough crockery and cutlery and a decent fridge. Not really a problem anyway when the bar is open all day for a great range of drinks, and toasted sandwiches! We were here for a week for a friends wedding and it was ideal, just a short walk down to the seafront with hundeds of great restaurants, bars and shops. The gyros stop (selling souvlaki / kebabs) for 2 euros is a must!!
The hotel owners will cater for any pre or post wedding gatherings by doing bbqs etc...and Sideris showed us his shoebox full of photos he'd taken of lots of weddings, all for free as his hobby. Amazing place, amazing sunsets, amazing island (hiring a quadbike all day for 20 euros = perfect way to see it). Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Pool side is fine but the ground floor balconies are right by some of the sunbeds. We had a room ups...

We recently stayed at Sideris apartments, the rooms are very clean and the sheets and towels are changed every day. The owners Sideris and Gregory and their wives made our stay one to remember, our daughter had arranged to be married on the island and hearing this our hosts could not do enough for us. They toook us back and forth to the wedding venue and Sideris took numerous photos of the bridal party and transfered them onto a disc for us as a gift.It is no wonder people come back to this hotel every year as the hosts are kind and helpful to all their guests. I will definately be going back next year with a gift of a bottle of Scotch malt whisky for my friends Gregory and Sideris.

We have recently returned from 2 weeks at Sideris Sunflower Villa after having a great holiday. The owners are very pleasant and very particular, the place is well kept especially the swimming pool. The room (8)was spacious with adequate furnishings and a double bed and we could just see the sea from our balcony. The bathroom is typical Greek 'wet room' type shower, but with a lip so the water wasn't too much of a problem. We were very glad of the air con as it was very hot when we were there. All in all we would certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews. As other people have said, the owners Gregory and Sideris go out of their way to help you! As a single lady, I was furthermore pleased by the fact that Gregory kept an eye out for me.
As for the hotel itself, it is nice, with a nice pool and nice rooms, though the rooms are basic: So basic, in fact, that not even a soap bar is provided (I did not expect a little bottle of shampoo, but I was surprised that there was not even a little soap bar). And there was no curtain for the shower, so the bathroom gets pretty wet. As to the bed, the top sheet is given folded, so one has to make that part of the bed.
My room had a kitchenette, so that was nice. I also had a nice view towards the sea.
One thing one needs to be aware, is that this hotel is at least 5 blocks uphill from the beach, on the main road leading out of town.

Room Tip: If you like a nice view, ask for a top floor room with a view towards the sea (poolside), unless you...
