Description: At the center of Kamari, the most popular beach of Santorini, a blue-white restaurant, Skaramagas, one of the oldest in the area, offers you the tastiest hospitality. The green yard in the shadow, the tables at the waterfront, the traditional Greek tablecloths, the blue chairs, the clean and friendly environment, and the quick and helpful service add to your pleasure. The recipes are light and the vegetarians find many dishes to choose from.Inspired traditional Greek cuisine with special emphasis on the appetizers, "mezedes", is what makes the restaurant different. Here you can taste Santorinian dishes made of local products, like fava beans, cherry tomatoes, caper and kaltsounia. Don't miss the fresh fish, the Mediterranean lobster and the delicious seashell stuffed with spinach and seafood gratin. The filets are special and the wine list includes the best Santorinian and Greek wines. You are invited to enjoy your meal by the sea, from noon overlooking Anafi Island, till midnight under the summer moonlight.

Finding Skaramagas on the 2nd day of our holiday was perfect, from this point on, we sunbathed and ate in the daytime only here. As part of a large group - sometimes upto 20, we were well accommodated, fed well (the Greek salad was particularly good) offered free sunbeds and free wifi. We were also frequently given complimentary beers and snacks in the afternoon. The staff were superb, incredibly friendly and accommodating. Well worth a visit!

Spent 2 weeks in kamari and visited Skaramagas whenever we had a beach day. Free sunbeds and wifi (you need to buy at least a drink only). We also ate lunch here in the lovely sea front taverna. The food was very good quality and drinks excellently priced. What made it more special was the wonderfully friendly and attentive staff who could not do enough for you. In all for a beach day this is the place to go. Theres sun, shade, wifi, beer wine and good food......perfect!

Ordered mixed fish plate. Ordered when restaurant only had two other tables occupied. After one hour asked where food was - told 10 minutes, then 5, then 2. Gave it the additional time then walked out. Waiter ran after - he said fish takes over 1 hour to cook. As we live by the sea in the UK and regularly have fresh fish, feel any fish that needs over one hour will be over cooked and inedible. Did not eat there and went elsewhere. Worst experience of time in Kamiri.

They came to our restaurant, they gave their order, we offered them the wine, and they were waiting for 34 minutes exactly. All this time they were asking every 5 minutes if the food was ready. They were looking at the other tables, all the persons were eating, but they had ordered just salads, so they didn't have to wait as them. They desided to go, the waiter kindly tried to explane, and after they drunk the offered wine, they wrote this nice critic to Tripadvisor about the food they never ate.

This was our most disappointing eating experience in Kamari. It looked good and had a good display of fish. We asked what size a particular fish was 700g was the answer. The waiter suggested that this wouldn't be enough to share, so we added a fresh squid. To be fair the food was good, but we had been talked into ordering too much. When we got the bill it was over 100 Euro, where most of our meals were between 50-70. Our 700g fish had turned into 900g on the bill... This left a bad taste. We couldn't be bothered to argue and just paid up and left without a tip.

The order was including fish 900gr, lobster, king oysters, shrimbs and grayfish, and 2 bottles of special wine! We think that the price was very fair.
