On arrival Johanna greeted us and made us feel welcome and part of the family that they have there, they cannot do enough to help.

we were given a great room as we were celibrating our wedding anniversary, we even had a small kitchen area, the beds were comfatable, the rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels.
Our balcony over looked the hills which was lovely to wake up to and we had the sun in the afternoon.

The pool was a little cold but once in you didnt feel it, the sunbeds are large and very comfy, did have to get up early to get a good one.
The food from the pool bar was very tasty, especially the club sandwich, a little pricey but you expect that in the hotel.
It is a short walk to the front of kamari, there is a good selection of bars and restaurants, the Almeria very good food and friendly staff.

Aggy, Johanna and not forgetting Dimitra you made our holiday very special, Aggy I love your laugh, I have never been to a hotel were the staff felt like friends when i left.

i wish them all the best and hope to meet them again if and when we return

I full recommend this hotel, if you visit Santorini

The Hotel was excellent, Spiros and the team were brilliant - extremely helpful and very friendly. I liked the good mix of different nationalities staying at the Hotel, everyone was so friendly. In short the holiday exceeded all expectations.

Room Tip: sorry I clicked on fitness centre by mistake

Anyone who visits Hotel 28 will have a wonderful holiday!
In reality its not actually just a hotel and resort that makes a great holiday, the people are a huge part of it. The team at this hotel are exceptional and are a true credit to the owners.

If you are looking for a relaxing hotel, in a quiet location but within 5 minutes walking distance to the bars/restaurants then Hotel 28 is your first choice. The rooms are spotlessly clean with daily maid service & there's no additional costs for aircon, fridge or safety boxes.

On your last day should you have a late departure see Argiro or Joanna on reception who will happily assist with keeping your room or moving rooms for a very small charge.

Should you wish to go on trips I would recommend the spa experience arranged through Thomson, a very relaxing treatment followed by seeing spectacular views of the caldera.

For live music at night the Sky Lounge and Ethic both were pubs that regularly have great live music to suit all tastes. However, Dimi makes the best mojitto's in town, so you must visit the pool bar at 28!

Thanks again to the team (our friends) from Lou-Lou & Innes, we will miss you all & our daily laughs.

We got married in Santorini on 31 August 2012 and stayed at Hotel 28 for 2 weeks. The staff were so, so friendly and genuine and could not do enough for us while we were there. They quickly got to know us, remembered our names and could not wait to see the wedding photos when they were delivered by the wedding planner! They also spent AGES trying to help us find my husbands wedding ring in the pool! (Thank you!) The hotel itself is really clean, bright and airy and the rooms spacious and very comfy. Being round the pool is very relaxing and the sunbeds are so comfy! All in all we had the most amazing honeymoon at the hotel and will definitely be returning to celebrate many anniversaries to come!

Thanks to the staff at Hotel 28. Argyro, Dimi and the rest of the team really went out of their way to make you feel like it was home-from-home. We were greeted by Argyro as we arrived with a cheerful hello and information about the hotel. Argyro & Dimi were on first named terms with us the whole week and everso friendly. Thanks girls!
The pool area really has the WOW factor (first pic) and I absolutely LOVED the sun loungers, which were so comfy. The sister hotel, Bellonias Villas, had a slightly better location near the beach and equally good pool area (second pic) and I loved having the choice of both locations.
Hotel 28 rooms are very clean, minimalistic and very good air con. Balcony overlooking the pool was a nice bonus. Towels changed every day so I'm not sure it's eco-friendly!
Breakfast was a choice of the usual breads, cold meats, egg etc. but the best bit by far was the delicious greek yogurt which I mixed with honey and fresh fruit. So nice to eat on the breakfast terrace. After very good directions from Argyro we caught the (only) local bus a few times into Fira - a popular trip to catch the sunset. Lovely.
All in all it's my favourite beach holiday yet, thanks to the beautiful hotel, staff and Kamari resort being so close to the airport. No lengthy transfer times!

Room Tip: I think all rooms are good, air con fab and our room overlooking the pool was an unexpected nice bon...

I'd been following all the reviews before we travelled to Hotel 28 and we were not disappointed. The staff are the friendliest I have ever come across and nothing is a problem for them.. The pool area is so relaxing but very hot - not much breeze we preferred the beach by the sister hotel which had the big comfy sun loungers.
Rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Air conditioning is a blessing.
Agiros is a tonic in the morning always laughing and joking and always ready to stop and chat about what we had planned for the day and gave us handy tips on places to eat. Demi on the bar is a lovely kind person and Joanna (the quiet of the 3) is fantastic too.
We ate out every night, all restaurants were very nice with a good selection of food.
We went to the open air cinema which was an experience popcorn, beer and wine under the stars !!!
Went on a few trips which we really enjoyable - Sunset Cruise and Simply Santorini. Also took the local bus into Thira a few times this is the a great place.

I can honestly say I have never been treated so well at any hotel I have stayed in. From the moment you arrive the minute you leave you fee like you've known the 3 girls for ever.

Would highly recommend this hotel

Room Tip: We had a mountain view room which got the sun up until 7pm. Rooms around the pool lost the sun quit...

Just returned from a weeks stay at this peaceful, relaxing hotel and i would also echo the previous reviews regarding the customer service and the very pleasant staff. From arrival to departure there is always a big warm smile and nothing is too much trouble. They are knowledgable, helpful and deserve praise and the trip advisor customer service award. The rooms are fresh and pleasantly decored and cleaned daily. But do lack a couple of simplistic finishing touches such as a kettle and even a shelf in the shower. The large double sized sunbeds around the pool are so comfy as are the sun loungers at the sister hotel at the beach. Its a short walk to the restaurants and bars along the sea front, all are a good standard, we found Alexis and lolas restaurants for good food, great prices, in a traditional family taverna atmosphere. I would recommend the sunset cruise and the mountain walk to old Theira for great views. The hotel and team exceeded our expectations.
