“perfect!”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

Only stayed one night, but was blown away! I arrived three hours before check in time, but because my room was vacant the staff allowed me to move up to my room, so i got to spend the day lounging by the excellent pool! The pool has the comfiest beds and great snacks and drinks at the pool bar.
The staff were phenomenal- so kind. There was a sense of familiarity as they called me by my first name on my arrival, and one lady even wrote me recommendations for restaurants i should try for dinner (go to the hotel's sister villas on the foreshore- delicious and a 20% discount)!!
It's a few minutes from the beach, meaning it is easy to go to the shops etc, but the hotel itself is in a relatively secluded area, in comparison to those on the foreshore full or tourist traps.
My room was wonderful, spacious, with a kitchenette and lovely ensuite.
I can't wait to come back!

28 Boutique gave us a wonderful holiday. The hotel is perfect, and the staff are amazing. We have been to Greece many times, but this visit surpassed all the others. Mainly, I suppose, because of the staff. Joanna, Argiro, Dimitra, Spiros ...they just couldn't do enough to make everybody's holiday memorable. They even gave up their own time to come and see people off at the end.
No wonder the hotel is used as a base for so many weddings. 3 in our week! ...and 2 couples there on honeymoon.
We could not fault the hotel. A well planned pool .... there were always sunbeds free at all times of the day .... and the breakfasts provided everything you could want.
A short walk to the front. One of the first tavernas you come across will be Almira. Ask for the 'Winemaker's lamb' - lamb and feta wrapped in vine leaves! I will go back to Santorini just to get some more of that!
A visit to the north of the island, Oia, to see the sun set over the classic blue and white domed chapels is a must.
We look forward to returning to the 28 Boutique next year.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back, which met the evening sun.

From the moment you arrive the friendly and warm welcome make a refreshing change. It wasn't just a job for the team at 28. They knew your names, what trips you were doing, what you were doing during the day and evening. Argyo's laugh could be heard everywhere and she was always so bubbly and smiley. The sunbeds were divine and the chilled out music round the pool made for a relaxing sunbathe. Argyo even recommended a book for me to read and she chose very well. I would agree with previous comments about noist guests (especially ones coming back in the early hours) however the doors were quite noisy to open and shut at anytime and could bang easily. During our week 3 couples got married and the hotel team had such genuine excitment for them. I agree to previous comments about the only bin being in the bathroom, not ideal.
In summary a lovely comfortable chilled out pleasant place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool have a lovely view however rooms at the back still have a view of the mountain...

After a week recently spent in the 28 Boutique Hotel,i felt i had to write and pass on the good vibes that i am still having after my recent holiday there. What can i add that probably has`nt been said before,Gordon M hit it on the head,10/10 for this superb hotel.Good location and good all round amenities, not too far from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife and bars, superb restaurant`s within a ten minute walk.
The staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble for any of them,Aggy,Dimitra,Joanna,Alex and Spiros. We were lucky enough to meet a great buch of people, you know who you are but i`ll mention you anyway, Mark, aka,David Cameron, his wife,Pamela, aka,Pam Cam,Leo the dutchman, aka Sven Goran Ericcson and his party animal wife,Wiscker, aka,Ulrikakakakakaka,Mel and Gordon along with Elaine/Chris This is the first holiday in a long time that i have regretted booking only for a week,i can honestly say that this fantastic hotel with it`s unique staff has left a lasting impression on me and left me wanting more.
We both can`t wait to set foot back there and will be back in 2013.

we have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Santorini, made extra special by the wonderful stay at 28 Boutique Hotel. It has already been said by numerous travellers that the welcome by the staff is fantastic. The only slight negative was the 'noisy' guests, who were succussful in waking us up every morning by slamming their doors on their way to 'reserve' their sunbeds. Consequently, we spent our 'sunbathing' days on the sister hotel beach sun lounges which came with free towels. We had some memorable meals along the promenade, Irinis make the best shrimp starter and kleftiko. We would definately recommend this hotel and resort.

As all the other reviews have said Argyro, Dimitra, Joanna, and Spirios where all very helpful, and made you fell very welcome all the time, no of the false smiles here. Argyo’s laugh will stay with us forever.

We never knew the island was so popular for weddings. 3 couples from here got married in the week we were here.

A couple of things no one seems to have mention is the road outside is quite busy, so traffic noise did spoil the “chilled out” atmosphere somewhat. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel is only 5 mins from the airport runway!
Our room had the sink in the bedroom rather than the bathroom, which if you needed to wash your hands after a visit to the loo in the night, you have to be careful not to wake your partner.

One small suggestion though. A small bin in the room. Having to put ladies make-up stuff, tissues, etc in the bin in the toilet with the used toilet paper isn’t ideal!

To sum up, this is a lovely hotel, the staff make is a cut above the rest. The sister hotel has the added bonus of free use of sunbeds and towels on the beach. Well recommended.

Room Tip: Even if you have a room at the back, you still have a fantastic view of the mountains.
