Description: Sellada is a family taverna with local specialities in a cosy veranda. You have to queue in order to get a table in the peak dinner hours! We do our best so that you are happy with our dishes & service; and, so that we can guarantee the quality of our food we have chosen to keep our restaurant small. Authentic Greek cuisine with fresh local products & daily menu at the best value for money!

“Excellent Greek food”

Just back from Kamari and dined at Sellada Taverna 4 nights within the week. Good Greek family taverna serving typical Greek quisine. No need to entice people into this taverna as it was always packed with queues waiting for tables. Dont let the queues put you off, its is well worth the wait. Try the stifado and the soutsouzakia which were our favourites. You wont be disappointed if you try here.

“Top View”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We ended up here for a first drink on a few nights watching the world go by below us. We ate in Navys Restaurant (part of the same place) on a few lunch times and would thoroughly recommend their pizza. Home made sour dough and thin shared with a Santorin salad.

“Fantastic traditional Greek food.”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

After trawling the seafront for good food, and having average meals, Sellada was recommended to us by some other holidaymakers. The food is so much more reasonable in terms of price and the quality is outstanding. We, unfortunately, only found out about this taverna towards the end of our holiday otherwise we may have eaten there every night, if we had we would not have been disappointed. The dishes were cooked to perfection and the family run restaurant made us feel welcome, even remembering our drink order the 2nd (3rd&4th...) time we went! Whole heatedly recommend to any visitors of Kamari.

“Great family run taverna in Kamari”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Went for a really nice meal at Sellada. Although the restaurant isn't directly on the seafront, and so is slightly more off the beaten track it was very busy when we arrived, which just goes to show that word gets around! The menu is traditional greek food, with a nice amount of choice. I had the chicken souvlaki, and my husband had the lamb kleftico for our mains. The food was great, although portion sizes weren't huge, but it was really tasty. The house wine was really nice, and also really good value. The desserts were great- I can't recommend the homemade orange cake highly enough, so please make sure you try it when you visit! It was lovely and tart with bittersweet pieces of orange. My husband had the baklava which really appealed to his sweet tooth! Both were served with lovely vanilla ice-cream. Staff were really nice and friendly, and we were given a free drink after our meal. All in all a great, very authentic greek taverna, and great value.

“Lovely taverna”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Second night in Santorini, we opted for this restaurant which is not directly on the seafront. Our expectations were absolutely met: the meat was one of the finest we've ever had! Two mixed grills, one caraf of red wine, and a dessert for only 32€ including tip - that's excellent value for money! Definitely recommended!
