Went to Fuerteventura for a spot of winter sunshine leaving behind the snow of home.
Close to the airport, hand luggage only and we were out in the sun 30 minutes after landing.
The hotel, although bigger than we'd normally use, was very comfortable and well equipped. Located close enough to the resort centre to make it a leisurely stroll but far enough away to be quiet.
Agree with other comment that the pool bar/restaurant was quite pricey, but we thought it gave reasonable value for money given what you got. It would have been nice if some smaller snacks were offered alongside the very filling 'sandwiches'.
We used the spa, which was very good, and although on its own access to the spa area was expensive it was included in the price of any treatment.
The only small thing that i thought a disgrace was the charging for tea and coffee in the rooms! Over €3 for an old tea bag and a creme milk - i think not! The supermarket 5 mins away was visited!
We would certainly stay there again for a short dose of winter sun. But didnt think the island offered enough for a longer stay.More
