Broncemar Beach
Ranked #12 of 23 Hotels in Caleta de Fuste
Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Stayed at broncemar beach for 11 nights at the end of June 2013. And although it was ok for what we paid I wouldn't stay again. The staff where all very friendly, and the rooms cleaned every day. The hotel is also in a good location, 10 mins walk from beach.
The apartment it's self was very dated. The bathroom had a horrible sewage smell from it most days, even though it was cleaned every day. The beds in the apartment were very uncomfortable and moved every time I moved in my sleep, they are two singles pushed together. The extras in the hotel you have to pay for are a rip off as well, €25 for safe access, €50 for wifi, €8 for hairdryer for a week and €1 per hour for tv.
The food was very average and practically the same every day, stews, pasta and salads. All inclusive drinks were poor too watered down.
Many other hotels in the area to consider before you stay here.

We moved to this hotel from a disgrace of an all inclusive hotel and what a world of difference.
We were given room 281 which was a spotlessly clean ground floor apartment with a terraced area and was near to al amenities.

The pools were lovely and there were always sunbeds available at all times of day.

The food was lovely and the snack bar had a good choice with burgers, hot dogs, chips, salads, pizzas and toasties available at most times throughout the day. Ice creams were available from 12-5 and drinks are self service apart from alcohol.

The entertainment team are a credit to the hotel they kept the kids amused and the adults with the entertainment especially the mr broncemar show it was hilarious.

We will definitely be back!!!

just returned from a two week family holiday staying at the broncemar, enjoying every minute! food was very good, plenty to chose from and lots of different foods to try,and the little extra touches on presentation made it look that little more appetising!
The hotel is very clean and the maids do a great job keeping the rooms clean and tidy.
The sun can get very hot, we had two weeks of beautiful weather, first couple of days got a little burnt, so we were grateful to sandra the sun care advisor, well worth the money on her products.
The pool was lovely the kids loved it! lots of activities to join in on put together by the thomas cook entertainers sam, steph and gez, the adults waterpolo is a one to try! and the night time was even better kids party disco followed with bingo then something for the family and adults, with brilliant themes.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to familys, we couldnt fault it, and we will definitely be looking to return in the very near future! Thankyou to the Broncemar for a wonderful holiday.

Booked a room for one night last week. Only needed Room for few hours to use as storage and shower as had to be out of villa 10am and flight wasn't until 10pm.

I'm no snob, but this place was awful. Full of chavs in football shirts, scoffing burger and chips by the pool all day long with loud music. Balcony was a thoroughfare and no privacy or security at all.

Room was dated, smelly and hot. We all left with bites on our bodies after laying on the beds. not one bite in 10 nights at the villa. Was go smacked to see local police walking their rounds around complex. Enough said! I honestly can't believe the positive reviews on this site, and would never stay here again. If you like football shirts, chavs, loudness, larger louts, then you will love this place. Wasn't for me. I'm not fussy, as long as a place in half decent I don't mind, but this didn't tick any boxes for me

Room Tip: Cancel your booking and stay elsewhere

Two of us visited Broncemar Beach hotel for 8 days in June. On arrival a cockroach was found in our room, although we consider ourselves lucky that there was only one, as we spoke to another guest who was tackling them on a regular basis, when a complaint was made they were given a spray to try and get rid of them without success. The hotel seemed an ideal place for children as much of the entertainment was child orientated. The room/apartment was spacious consisting of plenty of wardrobe space, en'suite, kitchen/ lounge area, all of which were cleaned on a regular basis. The food appeared to be fresh with a choice of salads, pasta curries etc available on a daily basis. The actual town of Fuerteventura was spotlessly presented with a selection of shops and restaurants. The beach is located less than a 10 min walk from the hotel. Would I visit there again ? No, only because it all appeared a bit too crowded.

The hotel was decent enough. Cleaners did a good job, food was good, 3 pools all maintained well. Entertainment was ok I suppose, not my thing but ok for kids by the looks of it. The whole Towel on Sunbed is an issue here.

Beach was lovely, but don’t walk barefooted due to stones/pebbles sticking in your feet. I literally had cuts all over my feet following a walk along the beach towards the far end! Definitely recommend some snorkelling as we seen plenty of wildlife and was one of the highlights!

Was awoken by a maintenance man who was banging on the roof of our apartment and pouring water all over the windows....at 8 in the morning. Went on for about an hour.... I was hung over and not pleased lol.

Decent enough holiday and worth the money overall - Note, wind is very strong here, but that only helps disguise the heat....make sure you know your limits (unlike me!) as I was burnt by the end of the day and was in pain for two days after, Didn’t even realising I was burning until it was too late

Taxi rank right outside. TIP - DO NOT pay for a shuttle service as the hotel is literally 10 mins away so you get there double quick, and for less. Cost 12-13 Euro's each way, which between two or more, is not a lot in comparison to a shuttle service.

Travelled 21-28 June 13 with my husband, daughter, grandson & friend. Upon arrival we checked in pretty quickly and were put in rooms 178 & 179 WARNING they are filthy shabby apts & I was back to reception like a shot. When I explained that we were not happy they quickly offered us 2
more rooms which were superb with brilliant views of the pools, very spacious & clean. Pools were both good sized but very very cold. Plenty of sunbeds whatever time of day.Food was excellent, my husband is a very fussy eater & he had no problems what so ever. Brilliant choice at breakfast, lunch & dinner in the main restaurant with burgers, hotdogs, pizza, chicken nuggets, chips etc etc at the pool bar. Entertainment throughout the day with quizzes, bingo , water games etc & shows in the evening. There is also an Irish bar that does karaoke most nights that is really good. Pool tables , arcade games, children's rides to keep the kids amused. 2 min walk to shopping centre & bars, another min to beach or 20 min walk to the other beach at the Sheraton hotel which is beautiful & well worth going, powder sand & clear waters a hundred times better than the resort beach which is quite mucky. 5 mins in taxi to hotel from airport & it costs €11. Will def be going back next year !
