As many reviews previously have said. Its cheap cheerful and you get what you pay for. Its 3 star not 5. Don't expect the Ritz if you are paying for a travelodge in the UK do you?

We went for a four night break early November and arrived Lunch time and was allocated room 208. First floor room with two balconys either side of the apartment so no matter what time we went back to the room we had the sun on one off them.

We had hired a safe on check in and when we got the room there was no door on it but this was reported to reception and within 5 minutes a maintenance chap had turned up to fit one.

Rooms in the apartment as mentioned also in other posts DO need a touch of paint and there was a bit of rust round the bath but we were not going to go and demand another room just on these small issues.

We went as a couple just for a chill out and this is what we got. Yes there is entertainment around the pool for those wishing to take part in quizzes , water volleyball, etc etc but there is no pressure to take part. On that note the entertainment staff work very hard to ensure everyone has a good time.

The pools are big enough to easily find a quiet spot and sunbeds were always available no matter what time you went down. Reserving of sunbeds did go on here like 99% of hotels around the world.

Cleaning staff worked hard as well around the resort and its nice to see them constantly wiping and mopping so anyone who has wrote a review on here saying the opposite to this must of of walked round with there darker than normal sunglasses on.

Food.....Normal 3 star fare. Not fine dining but good enough. You wont starve...and you must be VERY fussy eaters if you cant find something to eat every night. There was a carvery every night we were there plus the normal selections. Pasta dishes, fish , meat etc etc. If you want to pay all inclusive then go and eat in the centre of the resort then thats up to you.

Drinks. Available all day from the poolside bar. Coffee and tea you serve yourself along with Fanta coke etc .Lager and spirits(large ) are served to you by once again hard working staff.

Wine .red and white plus Sangria also available for lunchtime and evening meal.

Location of Hotel very good. Aprox 12 euros for a taxi from Airport. 5 min walk form Reception to the centre of the resort where there is selection of shops and bars. Beach 10 min walk.

All in all to sum it up as I started... Cheap All inclusive break for me and the wife in Hotel that has guests that have returned many times from what I can gather. If I go a back to Fuerteventura I would have no worries about going back to Broncemar.

It amazes me the no.of people who make bad remarks about this place. You basically get what you pay for - and if you pay 3* prices you get 3* accommodation which in our opinion is exactly what it is. Yes it is a little dated but we couldnt fault the choice of food - something for everyone and a great deal of choice. It is mainly geared towards families and therefore if you are a couple wanting a quiet getaway then I would avoid it (unless you go out of season). Pools are clean and pool attendant was seen checking the water, cleaning the grills etc on a daily basis. Staff can appear a little 'uninterested' but I would say that is because they work hard with long hours and very little thanks. I would say the main problem is the way some holidaymakers treat the place. There were plenty of bins around and emptied several times daily but still people would leave empty drink cups, plates and food all over the place. The snack bar was open from 11 to 5 daily and always a good selection of snacks i.e bread, cheese, ham, salad fruits etc. We went all inclusive which worked out at about 23 euros pp per day - tell me where else you could get 3 meals a day, all the drinks you can drink, snacks all day and icecreams for the children? All in all a very satisfied family and we wouldnt hesitate in going there again

A family of three wanting a budget holiday somewhere sunny. The Broncemar Beach aparthotel is a good complex offering most things a family would want. Personally we found our accomodation was clean and comfortable and in a quiet area away from the main bar/pools which suited us fine. Pools were good, one warm one cold.
We were not particularly bothered about the entertainment in the hotel but thats just us. The holiday reps did a very good job at entertaining people there although this is not something we were bothered about, Quizzes, games etc.
The food was ok but seemed to be very similar most days, think they try very hard though and service and the staff were very friendly.
Caleta De Fuste is an ok resort, seems like there are lots of hotel complexes there, does not have your village/taverna feel to it which we would have liked, but overall a good holiday.

Room Tip: We stayed in aparment 118 which is near a road but away from the main pool/bar area, we found it to...

Went to the broncemar beach hotel and was very happy with the friendliness if the staff and the cleanliness of the apartment. I had a ground floor apartment 309 and it was lovely. Only problems I had was the fact that all ground floor terrace is open and no privacy. My 14mth old daughter kept trying to run off the edge of the terrace. And neighbour kept (2nd wk) coming to my apartment doors. The terrace need some type of wall or privacy putting up also for the sake of young children not getting hurt. Otherwise I was very impressed.

Also went to Phoenix show bar and watched the amazing drag artist Sadie B. she was amazing and also her acts with miss Del Rio definitely need to see

Just got back after a 2week stay was anxious before went but asked for room with balcony before we went and got one 308 lovley, staff always ready to help and pleasant I would like to say it is the people who cause problems towels on sunbeds early then they go out for the day, also my daughter had a downstairs apt first wk good then family came next door and the children kept going to look through her patio doors and went in so did the mother, and thought it ok to stay and chat to my granddaughter as her mom was changing so terraces need to be divided somehow. But all else was ok.and if you go visit the Phoenix showbar sadie b is the best drag there

My wife, daughter and I arrived at Broncemar Beach at the end of October with a late flight. Checking in was quick and we were advised to get some food before we went to our room because the kitchen was closing. The small buffet restaurant looked a bit old and shabby. The food wasn't great either. At that point we already had a bit of an idea how the food was going to be for the next 7 days... not so good.
After dinner we went to our apartment. Very big apartment, separate bedroom with cot and a living/kitchen area with a pay-tv (no not PayTV like in hotels, a tv you had to pay for per hour to switch it on). We weren't very disappointed so far, as we expected all this for the money we paid.
The one thing that did surprise us, was that there was no air-conditioning. My bad, I didn't read the Tripadvisor reviews in depth as I normally do.
Back to the reception we asked for a room with A/C. The nice receptionist gave us a room with A/C for one night, but after that all the rooms with A/C were booked. The vast majority of the rooms at Broncemar Beach don't have A/C.
Next day we transferred to a different resort, Caybeach, which was around the corner. We had to pay extra, but was well worth it. Not perfect either, but much much better than Broncemar Beach. Have a look at the review of Caybeach...

Good points:
+Nice and helpful receptionists
+Big rooms, separate bedroom and living area

Not so good points:
-Small shabby restaurant
-Bad, bad buffet food
-No A/C in most of the rooms

Arrived Sat 27th Oct 2012 and as we just got off Thomas Cook coach, there was a queue for check in but it was hot and sunny and seats to sit down only took 5 minutes or so. Gave us a room round the back, very basic, very worn bath,no private balcony and no sunlight coming in.Beds firm but got a decent night sleep. In the morning, wife complained to rep about bath and room, rep asked if we would like a room with private balcony and she got us moved to a room with private balcony with mountain views overlooking Tony Roma'S(famous for ribs) and sunlight flooding in.Still basic same as the other furnishings but a big diffrence and the start of a very enjoyable holiday.Could'nt fault the food. You don't get fillet steak, king prawns or lobster but everything that was s'posed to be hot was hot and fresh and edible and there was a carvery where the chef carved you chicken, turkey, beef on diffrent days.No wine on tap in the restaurant though.Drinks out of machine ok.Only 2 drinks at a time in plastic cups at the pool bar but this keeps the queue moving steady and worked well.Entertainment a bit cheesy but all the kids loved it and at least there was always something going on to create a good atmosphere.Entertainment finished at 23.00 and always had a peaceful night.Only saw one cockroach on the steps to our room on the last night but he did'nt get very far.Location was very good and Caleta is beautiful and relaxing, some nice walks, beaches and restaurants but we were AI and did'nt need to use them.Did go on the ferry to Lanzarote and had a nice meal out that cost us £30 so feel AI was good value.Would go to Caleta again and to this hotel again providing we had a private balcony.Did'nt use the pay tv but did'nt go on holiday to watch tv and had a really good holiday.

Room Tip: As others have said, get a private balcony, upstairs so you can see the roaches before they get to you...
