A fantastic hotel with great amenities for all ages. Very clean, friendly helpful staff, good variety of food and quality entertainment day and night. Pleasantly situated with some shops and bars close by. Shall definitely be returning

Absolutely love this place. Second my family and I have been here. Food is lovely staff are wonderful and the hotel is spotless. Kids day time entertainment is very good which is great for them to make friends and good for quite time!!!!! I will certainly be going back again.

Room Tip: Block 3 is well away from hustle and bustle

The hotel is very big, it is divided in to three blocks, and consequently it can get very busy around the pools and at reception. We stayed in the lead up to the Easter holiday period and it was noticeably busier in the second half of our holiday. The hotel is clean and well maintained and our room was large, nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment works during our stay, though this did not detract from our enjoyment. We stayed in Block 1 which was nearest to the Irish bar, outside the hotel, which played loud music late at night. If you want a quieter room then Block 3 is a lot further away from this. The main restaurant area can get very noisy, as it was very big and open plan. We usually ate in the conservatory area which was a lot quieter. The pool area can get very crowded and sunloungers can be in short supply and, of course, there is the usual problem of people reserving them early in the morning and not using them for several hours. Of course there are notices asking people not to do this which are ignored. It was irritating to be charged for a room safe, wi-fi, and for changing the pool towels. Surely in this day and age these should be supplied free of charge in a 4 star hotel. We booked a late deal with Thomson holidays and thought the holiday was value for money.

A good hotel to spend a week of Easter sun. We travelled with 2 teenagers and we all found the hotel facilities very good. We were staying on a half board basis as we are not fans of all inclusive as we prefer to experience other bars/restaurants whilst on holiday. My ideal would be to have bed and breakfast as I like a buffet style breakfast (which is extremely good at this hotel) but I am not a fan of buffet style evening meals as I find it all a bit unrelaxing. However, this said, you could not fault the quality of the food or the variety which was exceptional. The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean, and we had superior rooms which are worth having for free entrance to the spa and free wifi. When we checked in we were given one wifi code for each room but as we were travelling with teenagers, each with their own wifi devices, we asked reception the following day for additional codes and these were supplied without any problem. If you like a good view, a room on the 3rd floor in block 3 is lovely and we had the sun all afternoon on the balcony - we emailed the hotel before we arrived and they were happy to meet our request.

Just returned from this wonderful hotel and cannot fault anything at all about it. The staff worked really hard at mealtimes and never stopped. The food was delicious, fresh and always replenished when used very quickly. As it was peak season the beds were plentiful but always taken up quite early, so no good for the late risers. The beach being a stones throw away through the gate was perfect. Everything in the resort is catered with families in mind and there were never any rowdy people either inside or outside of the hotel. We too stayed in a superior room and couldn't fault the beds, comfort and facilities in the room. With the use of wifi and satelite TV if needed this was great for the teenager we had in tow!!
As we were celebrating a special anniversary the staff had also left some complimentary chocolates and cava on arrival, which was a great gesture. The reception staff were always very polite and helpful too. The shows at night time were not really our cup of tea but were good for children or older clients to enjoy. If the hotel were to improve their night time entertainment this would be an even better bonus. However it never spoiled our stay as we like to try other places anyway. Pierre's bar was always lively and enjoyable to finish the night off. We also used the pick up service to visit the zoo in Costa Calma, 40 minutes away This was a great day out for our daughter's birthday, sea lion shows etc and plenty of wild life to see.
All in all a great stay and we will be back again which speaks volumes really. Absolutely loved it.One cloudy day did not hamper our enjoyment.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view room in block 3 in a quieter location but great views of the sea and beach etc.

We have just returned from Costa Caleta after a 7 day spring break and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Fuerteventura! When we first arrived at the hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff and check-in was quick and hassle free.

Our rooms were immaculate and the beds were incredibly comfy. The view from our hotel rooms were stunning, even though we didn't pay for a sea view.

The food was delicious and we were totally spoilt for choice - there was something for everyone (even picky vegetarians with allergies!). The waiters were cheerful, helpful and very attentive - even when the restaurant was at its busiest!

The pools were gorgeous - especially the heated one; and the shallow area for the younger children attached to the big heated pool was very handy for the children just learning to swim.

However, the main asset to the hotel was the amazing Animation team. They were so friendly and helpful with everyone and the huge range of activities they provided made our holiday so memorable. The evening entertainment also provided by the animation team was spectacular - especially the Lion King!!

Overall, this was one of the best - if not the best - holiday we have ever been on and we will certainly be back!!

Clean hotel

Bad points
My towels were removed from the sunbed after 1hr in the morning but the Barcelo towels were not removed (Biased towards people with renated towels)
Poor choice of food in Pool bar
Air con needed in main show room
"Floater" in baby pool. Life guard was informed but the poop was still there two hrs later
Free wifi would be good!

Overall hotel is really good and my 2 kids (7 & 3) loved it. We have said we would return at some point.
Oh and if you are not All inclusive there is not alot of stuff to do outside the hotel but we were so didn`t need to venture out.

Room Tip: Block three was very quiet. We were told that the block near the irish bar is very noisy so avoid if...
