We're so pleased with this Hotel we've been back several times and never been dissapointed.
From the minute you arrive at recption you can't fail to be impressed. All of the staff are helpful and courteous . The entertainments staff are the best we've ever seen , especially the shows they put on in the theater ( yes , theater , not a room with a stage and chairs !) , we've seen The Lion King , Starlight Express , Phantom , and all done to very high standards. Rooms are spacious and airy and well appointed , There is a large restaurant with a terrace area , and the food is excellent quality and variety. Large pool area with plenty of sunbeds , it really is a great Hotel !

Very good hotel in good location close to airport. Unfortunately, there was a delay from East Midlands Airport, due to industrial action by baggage handlers in Tunisia, and we arrived about an hour and half late, just missing the evening meal slot. Reception, (who were excellent) said that the restaurant would be happy to serve us once we had deposited our luggage in room and freshened up. We returned to the restaurant and it became clear that the staff were far from happy serving us, (it was an all inclusive package ) and one of the waitresses in particular was quite rude. We gave her the benefit of sympathising due to the circumstances, but this turned out not to be the only occaision when the service left something to be desired, and as the week progressed it seemed to us that people not on an all inclusive were treated better than those who were. The all inclusive also stopped at 11 PM and at no time were branded drinks available to us. What could and should have been a great holiday was spoilt by conditions which we didn't think were up to the Thompson's gold standards we had experienced in neighbouring Lanzarote, sorry.

Room Tip: avoid ground floor if poss. Restricted veiws and sometimes a little noisey

Arrived after a very pleasant flight, with Thomson Airways. No queuing at Gatwick check-in, took off on time and a brand new 737-800. Very good crew on the outbound flight. Very poor coming back.
Baggage arrived very quickly and we were on our way.
Hotel is about 5-10 mins from the airport.

Overall we really enjoyed the Hotel. It’s a large complex and very busy, however it is run very smoothly and the staff work hard.
Checking in.
Check-in into hotel was a bit of a free for all. A simple queuing system would make life so much easier. However, the staff coped well and were pleasant.
Rooms.
Ok so the room we were given was in the worst possible position. Block 1, and our view from the balcony was of the brick wall of the Irish bar. Just what everyone says on trip advisor, avoid it.
Music blaring and sound of the customers wasn’t good.
We asked for a room change and were told there were no rooms available but to check the next day when the Manager arrived.
We checked again and were told no rooms were available but could do a bit of a deal on the upgraded rooms. We opted for this and went from the worst room to probably one of the best with a sea view. Not a good start when you are paying for a premium holiday. The hotel was mainly French and they seemed to get the better rooms. We paid 240 euros for six nights. Why would a hotel that owes the freehold to all the building around allow a noisy bar to be 10 metres away from its guest rooms? I would never use this hotel chain again, just after your money for an upgrade.
Size of room was about the same which had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable.
Bathroom had separate toilet and bath with rainfall shower. Tea coffee making facilities but you would have to bring your own tea and coffee. Fridge, safe but at 35E per week.
The upgrade includes beach towels which you have to leave a deposit of 10E in the other rooms.
WIFI access in the room. Although a bit patchy at times and seemed to work better outside on the balcony. You may be able to pick up other networks outside too.
Robes, slippers and nicer toiletries.
Use of the Spa, which is normally around 20 per day.
Car parking space, which is normally 3 Euros per day. (we did hire a car so it did get used)

Food.
Generally the food was good. It’s the kind of food you would expect at a buffet. The restaurant is very busy and the staff work really hard to clear tables and bring your drinks.
Always fish or a meat being cooked fresh and lots of other options available.
During our week there was Tuna steaks, Salmon fillets, Mackerel, pasta dishes, pizza which generally looked good. Lots of salad and sauces to choose from. Followed by plenty of deserts and ice cream.
Spa.
The Spa is located a minute’s walk away outside the Hotel complex.
The spa is a relaxing place to spend a few hours. The Spa is in need of a bit of treatment itself; it’s getting a bit tatty. To be honest it’s not got that much in the way of water treatments. There is an outside cold pool and an indoor warm pool. There are a few other little rooms with different temperature waters but that’s about it, also a sauna and steam room.
There are plenty of sunbeds at the spa and it is peaceful away from the main hotel pools.
You can go back to the hotel and leave your things in the locker and return later if you wish.
One little niggle is that the reception staff seem to be ignorant of a queue and spend loads of time explaining the treatments whist half the potential customers get bored waiting or walk away. If you only want to use the water treatment and just need towels this is very frustrating. It takes 10 seconds to acknowledge the other customers and hand over a towel and slippers
Entertainment, anybody can put a CD in and mime, including the laughter recorded on the disk. The external entertainment was much better.
Holly and Amanda the Thompson reps were outstanding, were always smiling and making you feel that they really wanted to do their best for you.

Room Tip: Try not to be in block one

Very nice hotel in the best location in Caleta de Fuste (Costa Caleta). I have stayed here before and like the hotel very much. This time I stayed in a superior room in block 3, which gets the afternoon sun. The room itself was excellent, large and with a very comfortable bed, Free WIFI which worked well. Coffee making facilities (Kettle and Cup) No tea, sugar or coffee, take or buy your own. Kept spotlessly clean every day. Many English channels on the TV (BBC, ITV, CH4,Cartoons etc.)
The food in the restaraunt is also of good quality. Better than you would expect from a hotel going all inclusive. 3 Chefs cooking every night on grills (Fish, Mini Steaks, Prawns, chops etc)
Large carved joint (Beef, Pork, Chicken etc) Multiple salads, Pastas, cold meats and cheeses, and a large selection of deserts and fruits.
For the kids, Pitza, chips etc.
Having said all that, I do not like that the only bar (Huge) includes the kids club and the entertainment stage. A seperate quieter bar for us oldies would be appreciated.
I will not be staying again as a matter of principle, I did not stay all inclusive. I am not in favour of all inclusive as I have seen them destroy communities throughout the world. I do understand why people use them (cost) and if you want one, this is a good one. But please go out and use the local bars and restaraunts occasionally if you can, as well.

Room Tip: Block 3 is quiet and has the afternoon and evening sun though furthest from the retaraunt.
