We arrived early and thank goodness we did, as we had not booked and they had one table left out on the patio area unreserved! Even though we were early, we were not ignored, some crisps and drinks were brought to the table and the waiter welcomed us and chatted with us explaining how the special meal night worked and what was best on the menu that day. We immediately felt relaxed.
The location is gorgeous, high up the hill, overlooking the golf course.it is green and lush and very quiet. The restaurant and whole area is clean and well cared for.
Soon the area filled with people, all were attended to in the same efficient, friendly manner.
The owner Eduard came and greeted us all in turn, shaking our hands like old friends as he did with all the dinners and you immediately all became he guests completely. Complementary home made bread and sauce was brought to the table, which was a beautiful tasty touch.
The meals were brought to us in an unrushed fashioned, with the same care and friendliness as before. All dishes were fresh, beautifully presented and either piping hot or crisp and cool. The food was sublime. The muscles were tender and the salmon rich and perfectly cooked. The mozzarella starters were tender and very fresh. The pizzas were crisp and light.
Desserts - (by now an after thought for us, as we were pretty full!) Were rich and creamy.
In short, as soon as we left, I contacted Algo Mas via messenger and booked for Thursday night.... speaks volumes. One of the best meals I have ever had on the Island
