Found working out the correct fare complicated, as did those other visitors around us at the time. Expensive!

This a great speedy way to travel through the From Broadbeach to the University.
We were staying for 8 days so should have purchased a Go Card as you save 30%
Highly recommend.

The tram runs from Pacific Car shopping centre on the Gold Coast hwy to Southport. We paid $10 for an all-day ticket going to Southport, then Surfers Paradise, Pacific Fair and back to Broadbeach. Wait time between services are minimal, smooth ride and excellent announcements along the way. A good service

Easy to use. Plenty of staff to help. Not too much seating for elderly. Very pleasant ride. Personally I like to see where I am going and don't like all the advertising on the windows but its the same on the buses.

I have used the G link a few times now & I highly recommend the hassle free service. Go to the newsagent buy your card, put some credit on your card then off you go.
It's perfect for me as I only live a short distance from one of the stops, I love it and so cheap.
Perfect if you were on holidays. Well done G Link
