My boyfriend and I stayed here back in June 2012 and we really enjoyed our stay. The family are wonderful hosts and make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. I'm in the process of planning my next trip back here as we loved our stay so much.

We would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

A short walk or cycle from the Riserva Naturale Orientata Monte Cofano and a calm, warm and uncluttered bay west of San Vito Lo Capo, you can stay in extremely comfortable accommodation with a truly delightful family. Although self-catering, you can select your food from the freely-available vegie garden, or share meals (in house or at excellent local restaurants) and many good coffees, with your hosts and other guests. You can participate in activities on the organic farm or just enjoy the fine produce and the dramatic scenery. While an easy drive from Trapani, Marsala, Erice, Scopello and Segesta, the real highlight of this place is simply spending time with amazingly hospitable locals proud of their farm and their region.

After busy and loud Palermo, we stayed 2 nights at the Agriturismo Castelluzzo. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Mauritzio is such a nice guy and we felt at home straight away.
Our room had a double and a single bed, a fridge and a good bathroom. Every morning we had 12 little cats in front of our door, waiting for us to wake up. In the evening we looked at the million start in the court yard with each 3 cats on our lap. So cute!
We enjoyed the beach at San Vito lo Capo and also the beach very close to the Agriturismo.
The second day we went to Erice, only half an hour drive.
Mauritzio prepared breakfast for us on the day we had to leave - so kind of him.
We can very much recommend this Agriturismo and we hope to come back some day.

Agriturismo Castelluzzo was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We stayed in Il Geranio, the Geranium room. The location is convenient to Trapani, whilst also being at a relaxed remove from the pace of the city. Local stores provided most of the requirements we had for foodstuffs, with the addition of fresh ingredients from Maurizio's organic garden.
We were very lucky to have arrived the day after the organic olives were pressed and have never experienced olive oil with such vibrancy and flavour. Just the thought of it is enough to make me salivate!
Maurizio's organic wines are something to behold (and be taken with you, if you have any room!) and his love of family and his land combine with his passion for life, to create a stay that is inspiring to the heart.
Our stay at Agriturismo Castelluzzo was for eight days, and it was the most relaxing time of our entire vacation. In saying that, we travelled fairly extensively from the farm to enjoy what the western side of Sicily has to offer.
If you are into rushing around and cramming a billion things into your day, this may not be the place for you. If you want to enjoy life, unwind and spend some time enjoying the sites of Erice, Marsala, Segesta, Lo Zingaro, or even as far as Agrigento, they are all easily accessible by day trip and Agriturismo Castelluzzo is the right place to stay.

Room Tip: All the rooms are quiet. Shutters on the windows provide for a great night's sleep. Ask Maurizio if you have any concerns about anything, he's extremely helpful.
