great trip, up in a skipane & back by helicopter. Its a flight to the Tasman Glacier & back, not round mount cook first, which was a bit disappointing given the title of the flight. But we thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was our most expensive tour during our NZ honeymoon, but it was well worth it! The combo helicopter + ski plane tour is an awesome package since you get to see the glaciers differently. We departed on the helicopter, admired the vast landscapes around Tasman Glacier, landed and hung around for pix, then departed with the ski plane where we soared the skies and saw the peaks of the mountains. Both pilots were professional and we felt safe the entire time. It's recommended to go on at least 1 plane tour during your trip to NZ, and we're glad we did it in Mt Cook. We considered Milford Sound and Fox Glacier, but the weather in Milford is more rainy/cloudy so more chances of cancellations, and although Fox Glacier is on the other side of Mt Cook, we preferred the landscape views in Mt Cook better. There are a lot of tour operators but we're glad we chose Inflite. The staff are exceptional and correctly predicted that the weather would clear up and we'd have a fantastic flight (since it was rainy the previous day). Highly recommended!

Because of unpredictable clouds, they weren't flying the planes or landing on the glacier the day we were there. We had booked the combo tour, however, they switched the 5 of us to a 25 min helicopter ride that landed on a mountaintop across from Mt Cook. Our pilot was great. I was able to take pictures & video even from the middle of the back seat. My grown kids had never been in a heli before so they were thrilled. The clouds lifted off Mt Cook on our return and it was just spectacular. I know how fortunate we were as they are only able to fly 60% of the time due to weather. Thanks God! Still waiting for my partial refund, but they promised it would come through.

This was a great experience for the whole family. We did the Grand Circle ride. The helicopter seats 6 people plus the pilot. The views were spectacular and our ride was smooth. Landing on Tasman Glacier was fun. We enjoyed the snow; it was so bright. Sunglasses are a must. Although this is an expensive activity, if you budget can allow it, I recommend this ride.

What a fabulous experience, truly memorable! Our fantastic pilot Dan took us on a 1 hour ski plane flight around the stunning scenery of Mount Cook. We also landed on the Tasman Glacier which topped off the whole experience. Throughout the trip Dan kept us well informed and safe, in fact safety is clearly the primary factor running through the company’s ethos. It’s not cheap, but you do get value for money - it’s an experience you’ll treasure for many, many years and I’d thoroughly recommend it!
