My visit was a lovely experience and an educational one. Seeing the beautiful distant objects in our Galaxy and beyond through his telescopes was simply amazing. The cost when I went was an optional gold coin donation which in New Zealand is just 1 or 2 dollars. The opportunity to explore space and see what our galaxy is made of is priceless. Also exciting to learn about the work that has been done there. Our hosts made us feel welcome and took care that everyone was able to see and understand what we were seeing. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I can highly recommend a visit to Geraldine Observatory if you have even a passing interest in the night sky. Peter's enthusiasm is infectious and the views on a clear night are stunning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Peter and Wyn's terrific observatory. It is an experience that was not affected at all by the odd cloud-front that moved through. Peter's humour is highly-infectious and this delightful couple's gregarious nature makes a visit to their "home dome" an absolute must! Viewing the southern hemisphere skies above the lovely town of Geraldine was a dream come true.
