My wife and I stayed in a Junior Suite (weirdly-the exact same suite as our last visit) We were officially welcomed by the front desk staff but it was the welcome by all the other staff that had us feeling TRULY welcome, unlike some places where the staff panders to you to earn tips ! The accommodations were great and the food /selection first rate. The resort lent us a pass to hike some of the trails in Algonquin Park whih, at this time of the year, is beautiful !
The only complaint I have is a petty one at best; the resort has switched to the new single cup coffee makers at $2:00 a cup which struck me as excessive (I used to carry a small coffee kit with me until most hotels started supplying free in-room coffee) I ended up purchasing a $4.00 package of 2 cup tea bags from the local grocery store and using the machine to boil the water and having tea for approx 10 cents a cup ! I have no problem paying $1000+ for a few days here but I hated getting ripped off. As I say petty but .....More
