We chose an all inclusive break for ten days - while the rooms are in good condition, you will be woken early by the very thin curtains that are net like. Is right opposite a lovely beach and has good space around the pool.
Main thing that lets it down is the food - everything basically tastes the same and is rather disappointing, so much so we avoided lunch every day and ate out a couple of times for dinners despite having paid for all inclusive.
There isn’t much around the hotel to do, but it is worth walking 10/15 mins or so down the road to the main town particularly on market days.
Staff are all lovely and helpful and it would definitely be worth it for the all inclusive if you plan to drink everyday, however do expect poor to average food in a busy and sometimes chaotic dining room.
Wouldn’t return to the island itself as there is little there to explore however had a pleasant enough trip and would recommend the hotel, but not the all inclusive option.More
