we stayed here in June and the hotel is lovely, but the beds are hard
Pools lovely and gardens well looked after, The food is awful cold at times not well presented and of poor quality The entertainment for children terrible there was no entertainment for adults and nothing to do in the location , what i did find alarming is the wild birds flying in the dinning places which could contaminate the foods why this isn't meshed off i do not understand .!!!! needless to say we will not be returning .The manager has responded to comments like this but seems to fail in taking action to improve the issues.

Hotel very clean, beautiful gardens and pool area, unfortunately the food choice quite poor and at times cold.
No entertainment for adults only children up to 11 pm. Once that was finished there was nothing and nowhere to find it as the location of the hotel is in a residential area.

I would like to thank you for your comments, as it is through them the best way we can improve the quality of our service, understanding the perception of our product and most important the quality and service we provide.

Concerning your comments about the variety of food, we would like to inform you, that our menus have a 11-days cycle, in which the salads and fittings could be repeated but not the main plates. Also we include the “Show-Cooking”, where you can find different kind of fish, meat, vegetables, crêpes, pasta, and the typical Spanish “paella”. Every day we are working to continue with our quality and not only obtaining and investing in the product, rather in the permanent formation of the staff.

Regarding touristic offer and variety in our proximity, as you probably know, the hotel is placed in a residential zone for relaxing and quiet holidays, nevertheless you can find within five minutes walking distance and in any direction, restaurants, coffee-shops, pubs, and other options. For more touristic offer, we regret that you have not contacted, with our English speaking reception staff during your stay, to be able to give you information about places to visit in our proximity or any other kind of touristic information worthy of your interest.

Have just returned from a 2 week holiday here. The hotel is lovely, right on the beach and with beautiful, well kept gardens. We stayed in room 323 which as well as the usual balcony had a huge private sun terrace with sun loungers, this was a real bonus as we didn't upgrade. The bathroom was huge with a really powerful walk in shower ( in addition to a shower over the bath) and an excellent hairdryer! There was a fridge in the room and a safe which was 26 euros a week to use. We took our own kettle as we like tea....it would be lovely to have tea making facilities provided. The room was kept spotless by staff who always greeted us with a smile.
We were on half board. Food was always good and with plenty of choice. We usually went to the show cooking so food was always hot. My partner is much more particular than I about what he eats and he never complained so it must have been good!
The pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds and water slides too ( great fun!). Lovely long beach with what I'd call gritty sand but quite ok. Plenty of room for all, including naturists.
There isn't alot to do in the local area though we went to Mojacar and Vera ( on market day...Saturday) on the local bus...both worth a visit. The sun shone every day and it was hot so everything we wanted in a holiday.

Room Tip: Room 323 has a huge, private sun terrace.

Just stayed for a week at the Zimbali hotel on a B&B basis with TUI. We hired a car and travelled around a lot so didn't spend too much time at the hotel.

When we checked in we asked for a room on the top floor which the receptionist allocated us, this was great as we like peace and quiet. We also had a sea view which was a bonus.
The bathrooms are large and we had a walk in shower and also a shower over the bath. The beds were comfy and so were the pillows. The room was cleaned really well everyday.

The breakfast was good. When we first arrived they had freshly squeezed juice but after the first few days that stopped which was a shame because it was great. They had enough of a variety for breakfast and also had fresh fruit every day. Don't get me wrong, it's not the 5 star Mexican all inclusive kind of breakfast but for what we paid we were very happy with it.

We aren't pool people so spent some days on the beach which was lovely, although their were random naked people taking a stroll down the beach from the naturist resort further up the beach.
There are some stunning beaches around 30 - 40 minutes drive either way along the coast.

We had a great holiday, excellent value for money and would definitely return.

Not quite a 5* but very close. Staff were friendly and attentive. Large hotel but spotlessly clean.More of a family hotel but we stayed as a couple. The room was huge with 2 double beds, plenty of wardrobe space, fridge in the room, dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries all in room. Huge terrace/patio with table and chairs and sunbeds. Food was 'help yourself' but plenty of choice and eat as much as you like. Hot food was actually hot and cold food was well chilled. Grapefruit and ice cream for breakfast - wicked.
Negatives: Need more toilets downstairs - only 1 near the lobby and the other next to the swimming pools and although they tried you could not get away from the fact that they were geared up for the Spanish and not for the English. Only 1 TV channel in English and that was Sky News.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 447 - brilliant. Not much noise, brilliant views and very large.
