Los Angeles is for us just a short walk from the village of Palomares. Every time we visit Palomares we visit Los Angeles. Usually we have the excellent value Menu del Dia but, for this visit, we opted for the Friday special of battered cod with homemade chips.
Lovely fish, light batter and chips that were just right; not heavy with grease!
Roll on June when we will be back again

“Wonderfully friendly restaurant with good quality food at very competitive prices”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

We have eaten here a number of times the last being May. The restaurant is a mile along the road from Villaricos and for those who like to work up an appetite an easy walk. The food is excellent, menu extensive and the best value in the area. Menu del dia costs €10 for a 3 course meal including half bottle of wine or drink per person. Menu del Noche starts at €12.50 or you can el la carte. The staff are all very friendly being a mixture of Spanish, Czech and British the food caters both for the English or for persons having more adventurous culinary taste. Being a fan of paella I have so far not found a better one, being full of sea food, so many are little more than rice with a few prawns and mussels thrown in. Having eaten in the El Mar La Mar which is on the same road but closer to the Village of Villaricos I think the extra walk
is well worth the effort.
The only criticism I have is that the dinning room could do with some updating but I guess this
will come with time and money!

“Excellent value; great cuisine”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Highly efficient and polite service. This restaurant offers an evening "menu del dia" till 9.00 and a la carte from then onwards. We opted for the evening "menu del dia" which at the time of writing was priced at 12.50 euros per head. Everything we ate was home made. The 3 course menu we tucked into included a fabulous leek soup, a superb steak and ale pie and to crown it all; some of us had fresh strawberries and cream or apple pie and ice cream. Got to eat it to believe it!! We ate early and not many customers in at this time; which took the atmosphere off a little bit. (But, weather was lousy; so what can you say!!) Dare say that most frequented after 9.00 when ambience would have "picked up".
Nice owners and staff and we will definately be visiting there again and will pursue the a la carte menu that looked delicious. Highly recommended.

“Visited twice in a week. 7th and 10th March”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Called on spec with husband and two friends. it was our first visit. The food was excellent and Lenka was very friendly and helpful. We had excellent food with generous portions. T he restaurant became busy but we were not kept waiting. we enjoyed so much that we booked in for mothers day where we were able to be seated At 3pm. the restaurant had been busy
all lunchtime but as we had pre-booked our lunch there was no problem.
we are now back in the UK but will return again if we visit the area.

Great little restaurant. Menu del dia is very good value. Can get busy so best to book. Not far from Veraplaya so handy if you are staying in the Naturist zone.
