With heron and birds, it’s a lovely day trip place suitable for all ages. Nature with greenery and tranquillity.

Whenever I am in Carshalton visiting the library in the Westcroft Leisure Centre or the town, I always go for a walk in the Grove! It is such a varied, interesting park. It has open green spaces, beautiful old trees, flower beds and of course the picturesque ponds which flow down into a cascade which becomes the River Wandle. There is a really good children's play area complete with a mock castle, cafe, toilets, crazy golf and basketball courts, something for everyone really. Families love to picnic here, play football and enjoy the being in the open. It's a great park and really close to shops and High street. If you visit Carshalton, check it out! You won't regret it!

A simple town park offering good walks, views and some children’s area. With the river running through there is plenty to enjoy. You soon forget the busy Carshalton high street just a moment away.
A few more benches would be advantageous.

Our friend live here, so we go out and walk the dog quite a lot, usually round the park, its now got 3 Heron that have nested here. Its quite a little oasis, one that you can walk through to get to the shops or just for a walk.

Lovely place to get away from the hustle and bustle of London life.

I am a mum of 4 and have been visiting this park since I was a girl , everything you could look for in a park is here , feeding the ducks , good play equipment, loads of open space , a stream for kids to play in and cafe. Right in the heart of the village and next to a lesiure centre very lucky that it's on our doorstep
