A very attractive local park in Carshalton. A scenic setting near the start of the river Wandle and plenty of things to do nearby.

If we want to go to a park - this is usually our go-to. It has a great little play area, with lots of apparatus. Lots of swings - so hardly any waiting for one (If ever). 2 climbing frames, slides, Tyre swings and plenty of area sit.

A pond to feed the ducks and lots of squirrels! We always bring some monkey nuts and bread.

There is a cafe situated by the park that sells drinks and other refreshments at a fairly reasonable price.

Nice place for a walk around even better if you have kids as they have a very large play ground with all sorts of goodies to keep them occupied for hours.
A lot of historical facts can be followed up but you're have to do a bit of googling to find what they are.....were....
The White Bridge, the water mill, there's even a old Victorian swimming pool there but you will have to search for it.

This used to be a private garden now open to public it is a great place to walk and think or take children. It has a waterfall, 1800 waterwheel house, pond, interesting play area for kids, tea rooms, open grass area, ornate bridge and many views of the ponds.
