Lovely hotel with a superb location in Port Ballantrae. Super views from the dining room. Great staff and great food. Breakfasts were a treat. we took a walk down to the Boat Club and had a drink there too.

A great place to stop for tea when driving along the north coast of Northern Ireland. It has a lovely view out over the sea with a busy little harbour in front and the sun pouring in the windows.
Popular with tourist golfers and knowledgeable amusing staff .

We stayed as part of a large Group on Saturday night. the room we had allocated to us was huge. It was very well-appointed, meeting most of our needs. We ate in the Restaurant part of the Bar, overlooking the bay. The first downside was we were part of the 'celebrations' of those watching the Champions league Final. There is no way to escape this as it is all open plan. The second was the food. It was ordinary. I had Caesar Salad to start- it was mainly three large lettuce leaves. my burger to follow was far too dry. it had been overdone. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious. The next morning I had a freshly-made Ulster Fry, which redeemed the Chef on the food front. this is a superbly appointed hotel, with very modern furnishings; the staff is superb- well-trained and great craic, in a fantastic location. I do feel they have to up their game on the quality of food presented. it is not a cheap place to stay after all.

Popped in for lunch and got a window seat with an amazing view on a dull day. Had cod and garlic fries with peas and tartar sauce. Satisfying.
A lovely place for lunch as you explore the causeway coast
