I have been many times with the family for their carvery dinners which my kids love. The Carvery vegetables vary day to day and I think they are cooked from frozen but for a good value for money roast dinner it is worth having. A few other items have been ordered and do take longer to come out but I would say the quality is well worth the wait. The staff have always been friendly and the kids love the outside play area.

I was with an average size group of around 8 people, 4 couples for a midweek drink to celebrate a friend's birthday, after drinking from half 7, an incredibly rude member off staff demanded we leave immediately for laughing too loud around half past 10. We were treated like a bunch of 16 year old kids trying to cause trouble, whilst realistically this clueless staff member was talking down to a group of 4 professional couples. A level of noise that is commonly known as atmosphere in most pubs was apparently just too much for this pub that lacks in every area. Finally we opted to move back to a regular drinking spot where we were welcomed from the door, a place grateful for the custom.

(Upon leaving eaton farm, after being forced to finish a full pint there and then, it was snatched from a friends hand with little under half a pint remaining for 'taking too long')

Very slow service at the bar for food and was by-passed on ordering twice for what would appear to be local patrons who were known to the bar staff to be served ahead of me in an adjoining queue!

Food was dry and appeared re-heated as had 'sunk' in the dish served but was nice enough to eat.

Food reasonably priced but drinks were expensive.

Children ordered ice creams but were asked to leave the restaurant as they still had KFC drinks with them.........probably understandable but as myself, my wife had paid for a full price meal & drinks and the children had ice creams bought there an exception could have been made.....

Would not visit there again.

We were staying at the Novotel and didn't fancy eating there, so drove down the road a couple of miles and ate here. The carvery was cheap, plentiful and well cooked. With it we a had a bottle of white wine, which was excellent.
