“Getting dated”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

stayed here when it first opened and i dont think the decoration has had much done to it since then. i was the opposite side to the Motorway but the local road was just as noisey and the wodden windows need new seals and thicker double glazed unitss to keep this noise out.
The shower did not work very well and the tv was an old style one that i havent seen in a hotel for a long time.
Value for money was excellent though and alot cheaper than the local premier Inn so cant really complain

“Best Wester Nottingham Derby - The Grill at Twenty Five”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

This is a very well organised restaurant but what makes it excel is the professionalism of the staff. Customers are greeted straight away in a friendly and curteous manner and shown to their table.

With a wide choice on the menu there is something for all tastes. Prices are more than reasonable and the food is very tasty and prepared by some very experienced chefs.

What sets this apart from the hotel next door is the very friendly atmosphere and the fact that the waitresses seem very happy in what they do since they never stop smiling and fussing over their guests.

I would definately recommend this restaurant.

Good attentive service, food was average but a good choice of dishes, only a couple of benches outside to sit and eat at...will not set your world on fire

“Very good”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

We ate here for breakfast when staying at the hotel and it was lovely. There was lots of choice in the buffet and I also ordered poached eggs which came perfectly cooked. The staff were helpful and friendly and replenished the food often.

“Friendly place to stay”
Reviewed April 25, 2013 via mobile

I was a little concerned after reading previous reviews about the noise level from the M1 which runs right alongside the hotel. To be fair I never sleep particularly well when I am away so although you can hear the traffic I didn't find it too intrusive. What I did find was a very friendly group of staff, and this was also true for the girls who served in the grill opposite. The room itself was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The bed unfortunately was 2 singles pushed together, one slightly higher than the other which made it a little uncomfortable if you happened to stray over a little. The shower cubicle was fantastic(although I prefer a bath)but the water wasn't very powerful but it was hot enough. All in all I liked it here and will stay again on my next visit to the area.
