This little hotel is a gem! The rooms are designed beautifully with unique and thoughtful touches everywhere. The shower was such a pretty mix of stone and tile. You wander down to your cabin/room on terraced and lushly planted paths. The gardens are special. The pool is set below the restaurant and you can get a drink sent down the pulley from above! I liked the menu and the food was well prepared - all very fresh. Even if you are full be sure to try the passionfruit crepes for dessert!

Really loved this place. Very comfortable, chill, great food, nice pool and the hosts and staff could not have been nicer, cooler or more hospitable. Super close to one of the best Dominica beaches, short drive to hot springs and forest hikes. I would highly recommend staying at Mango Island Lodges when in Dominica.

The owners couldn’t do enough for us, even driving us to town or to the beach. Accommodation a mix of luxury with a rustic charm. This is a great place to stay will definitely come again. The lodges are private fully self contained and management supply you with a mobile phone to ring them if you want anything delivered to your room. The staff dare friendly locals and the whole experience leaves you feeling like you have had a taste of Dominican living.

Room tip: There are only 4 lodges at present but a 5th being constructed. All exceed expectations

After a beach break in Antigua we wanted to explore the 'Nature Island' that is Dominica. Mango Island Lodge was the perfect base. This beautiful lodge has a wonderful view of the sea, well presented rooms, a pristine infinity pool and is located centrally just off the main Portsmouth-Roseau road.

The owners are excellent hosts and have clearly worked hard to create a lodge of international calibre in what through it's sheer remoteness is a relatively challenging location for such an endeavour.

We wouldn't dream of booking anywhere else if we ever return to Dominica. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a week in October and had a wonderful time!!! Stephane and his wife are very gracious hosts. They accommodated our every request. The rooms are very comfortable as is but I am honestly very excited to come back and visit once all of Stephane's upgrades are complete. I would go back tomorrow if I could and I certainly plan on coming back. I highly recommend this spot for couples and families though don't expect all the non-stop activity that you would get form a major beach resort. This is a place to come and unwind, unplug and enjoy unspoiled nature in a beautiful setting. Great for a romantic getaway, great "home base" for a dive adventure, hiking adventure or both. Can't wait to come back

Room tip: All the rooms are wonderful.
