“Beautiful Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

There is a lot of interesting history displayed throughout this place. Plan a lot of time to read all the information and take it all in. I would advise to go to the lighthouse first because they will close it if it starts thundering. Very beautiful, peaceful place. Highly recommend visiting!

Pretty much dog park for swimming at ponce. Nice to see dogs. Short walk to main beach, jetty's, surfers always fun there if you like the beach.

This is a well kept secret in Florida! We always go to the lighthouse and just drive around this beautiful place.

“Great History”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2014

Just a short drive from Daytona Beach, the lighthouse is a great history lesson. The lighthouse is a steep climb and is a bit exhausting. Take some time to stop and read the plaques on the walls. Once at the top, the view is outstanding and worth the climb. There are several other buildings on site that give you the history of the lighthouse. There is no food or drink (including water) allowed in the park.

“New View Of Daytona”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2014

What a better way to see Daytona. I am from North Carolina where lighthouses are SUPREME but this was spectacular. The history and scenery made me really think differently of the area. Daytona does have something more to offer. I love the gift shop, the restaurant, and the park. Can't wait to visit again. We even purchased a certificate for completing the climb.
