“Your Irish family awaits.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

My husband and I stopped by Killorans for a cup of coffee. We spent hours looking at the history on the walls. We talked to Anne and her son Tommy. They have so many stories to tell. Lot's of laughter. I was very intrigued to learn why President Kennedy's family meant so much to the Killoran family.

We ended up staying for a delicious lamb chop dinner and Anne taught my husband and I an Irish dance. This was the most laughter and fun that we had on our whole trip to Ireland (and that's a high bar to reach.) Ireland is a FUN place to visit!

So, we stopped for coffee, made life long friends, learned to dance, learned of Tubbercurry's history, had a delicious dinner and stayed for pints until they closed.

Lovely people, lovey time.

Don't miss this gem!

“Great service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

Cash only, no credit cards but prices are decent. Conversations at the bar with bartenders and customers always fun. Long chat with Mrs. Ann Killoran who, with her husband, Tom, started this place 55 years ago. Must go there when in the area.

“Super friendly & Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

My nephew and I were driving to Derry and decided it was time for coffee and a snack. The owner waited on us and was absolutely charming! Great food, and so much to look at while we ate! She shared so much about the area and made us feel really welcome. Would go back on our next trip!

We visited Killorans resturant, there were 4 of us and we all ordered something different, we were very surprised with the quality of the food, it was hot, nicely presented, value for money and absolutley delicious.
