“Average hotel close to sea & beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

This is a very average hotel with a good location. Very close to the beach, but far from any other stores, restaurants, etc. The rooms were large, but outdated and the bathrooms are very small. We were disppointed we were not able to get a room facing the sea or the lagoon, but rather the parking lot. We did not get the buffet as it was 34 euros per person, and did not seem worth it to us.

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2010

Stayed here in July and we were attracted to the Hotel due to its promotion of the All inclusive concept. Little did we know how strict they were in limiting the kind of alcohol and snacks you could get. We arrived and got checked into a lagoon room. The rooms are quite dated and could use an update. However the walls were thick and we could not hear our neighbours. We got there in the middle of the afternoon, and asked if we could get a snack, but no that was not part of the AI program, so we had to pay for that. In all our stays at AI places in the Carribean this is the first we have encountered this. There were no snacks and you could only get food at the set morning, lunch, and dinner times in the restaurant. One day they had a pizza day where you could order pizzas to go, but then again if you were on the AI plan you could not get a pizza to go. Only beer, and the local wine in carafes, where included in the AI, not after dinner cooktails or other liquer was included. If this place truely wants to be a AI place they need to send their management to a AI place in Mexico or some place where the art of AI is perfected. Thier take of AI is a poor mans AI, and almost scares you away from going there again. We spent quite a lot of money on drinking other drinks, and that is exactly one of the things you do not expect when going to a AI place..

The staff was okay, but at times it was hard to get their attention outside the set eating times when you wanted a beer or a softdrink. However the room was cleaned promptly everyday.

The restaurant food was excellent and for a buffet it was one of the best buffet I have had. The variety and freshness of the food was excellent.

The pool was small and very dirty. There are a lot of rules that were never enforced, and the fence around the pool made you feel like you were in prison. Not a very good pool atmosphere. The beach was very nice, but it does get windy and at times which results in you getting sandblasted. Not much of a nightlife at the Hotel, and there is quite a long walk to the town of St. Cyprien.

Not a bad stay, we did eat good, but not a place we will return to for a romantic stay.

Stayed here on our honeymoon for 8 nights. The staff was perfect, the guys at booking, reception and restaurant were all great. We've had all inclusive, you should also choose it.
All rooms had beautiful view, we've stayed in both beach view and lagune view rooms. The lagune view rooms are quiter, the beach view is right above pool.
The kitchen had various local foods each day, very tasty and plenty. The local wine was also tasty.
You shouldn't go there if you are not with children, or you don't like children. The hotel pool was small and 2 kids were enough to make swimming impossible. There were not enough beach chairs around pool so you should reserve one early morning. Sometimes persons not from hotel were also using the pool.
The beach, like most of Mediterranean beaches was not sandy, so it's not good for barefoot walks. It is deepening fast, so it's not suitable for non-swimmers.
