“excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

located in a romantic small village on top of a mountain. service was always nice, friendly and attentive. wine was very good. outstanding was the primo. ravioli-like pasta with tartufo. the pasta was so delicate and thin-layered that the knife went trough it like air. i say ravioli-like because it wasnt ravioli more two layers pasta with a ricotta/tartufo ball in the middle... one of a kind! as secundo we had tagliata di chianina with various kinds of souces - all flavoured differently and honey based. it was a joy, the best one for sure the house-made one.
tip: try to get a table on the balcony.

“Wonderful Authentic Italian Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2011

We had an absolutely delightful evening. The owner, Paola, greeted us at the door. She spoke very little English and we (a group of 8) spoke little Italian. Of the 8 of us, my husband knew enough Italian to help out and what he couldn't translate, Paola did her best with pantomime or making the sounds for the different animals for the meats we were served. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was absolutely charming. We had a little difficulty finding the restaurant, our GPS just didn't work as well in Italy as it does in the USA. But the dining experience was well worth our efforts!
