We booked with Thomas Cook in January after reading the positive reviews on this site. It never purported to be five star and for the price we never expected a sea view, but wanted somewhere just 2 minutes from the beach - which it is!
The accommodation was basic, but modern and pleasant enough and very clean with maid service every day (including Sunday which we weren't expecting). We support the comments in earlier reviews about the ready supply of hot water and a great shower (room 20) at any time of day.
The family-run pool bar served drinks, ice-creams and snacks (toasties, paninis and great omelettes) at what we thought were reasonable prices. We used to go to the posher beachfront bars in the evening and pay double for a glass of wine, but even these were worth it for the views over the beach and ocean. One of the family was on duty all the time from 09:00 until late, even when there were no customers, and we often stopped for a night-cap on the way back to our room.
There were a couple of families staying whilst we were there, and we were told the accommodation was full, but the pool was never over-busy and sunbeds were freely available.
It's a quiet apartment hotel and resort, but would happily recommend both to friends and family looking for a relaxing time.More
