Description: If you are staying in Perissa or Perivolos on Santorini, check out this outstanding restaurant and bar and the southern end of Perivolos beach. The stylish interior and lovely setting (with the moon rising over the beach in the evenings) give a taste of the amazing food that is served. The food is a bit on the pricey side by Greek standards, but it's worth every penny! There are some Greek favourites like Greek salad or Moussaka, but they all have a delicious and contemporary twist and are lovingly presented. There is also a huge seafood selection as well as some exotic dishes, all of outstanding quality. We loved the tomato risottos and swordfish as well as the warm parmesan bread that was served as a starter. The portions are generous - we would have had more than enough with just a starter. In the evenings, the atmosphere is relaxed and chilled, yet romantic, but you can also have breakfast or lunch on the restaurant's beach loungers or tables on the beach, all in a very stylish setting. A very special place!

My husband and I just visited Seaside and were so very impressed with our experience we wanted to recommend it to fellow travelers. We walked here all the way from Perissa Beach and it was well worth the walk! The food was beautifullly presented, very flavorsome, generously proportioned and complimented the view of the beautiful and refreshing sea perfectly. Our Greek-Scottish waiter was lovely too!! We loved the complimentary fresh fruit at the end too.

We visited this restaurant a few days ago upon the recommendation of the owner of our hotel, the ambience is lovely in the evening, we were made to feel very welcome and was given a choice of tables. The menu was extremely well put together giving background info on the chef, details of the dishes & even recipes, the half Greek half Scottish waiter was very informative & helpful & helped you chose your dishes. The bread & dips was delicious, we thought that the portions for the starters was a little to large (I ordered the tomato fritters and was served 4 rather large ones) The seafood parcel was presented very nicely, served in a paper parcel which was cut open at the table by the waiter, the veal with the poached pear & gorgonzola was a little disapointing the veal was a little tough, the pear was very squishy, not delicately poached & the gorgonzola was too strong so it over powered the other flavours. All in all the experience of dining here was good but was a little expensive two courses each & a bottle of wine was over €105. Worth a visit if you are happy to pay a little more

We were told about Sea Side from the staff at our hotel in Pyrgos, we booked a table to celebrate getting married on the second week of our holiday and wished we did it sooner.

The setting is so romantic and laid back, yet carries an air of class and sophistication without being pretentious. We were seated by the front of the restaurant looking on to the candle lit beach, it was beautiful. We were quickly brought the menus which took much deliberation over just which of the mouth watering dishes we wanted order as we didn't want to miss out on something. The choice was great and their seafood selection was something else. They say its Greek cuisine with a modern twist and they are right. Each sounded more tasty than the last!

We finally made our decisions and were happy. The waiter, Daniel, recommended their bread while we waited, and we were not disappointed. A great start! The dishes that followed were also to the highest standard presentation and more importantly in taste! I am a pudding head so the chocolate santorini was right up my street, I loved it, so much so we booked a table as we paid the bill. What better place to spend the last night on the island!

We will definitely be back on our next trip to santorini.

A must for all visitors! Thank you!

I have been to Santorini three times and eaten at many of the top restaurants there. Sea Side by Notos is absolutely the best food on the island.

Several dishes are on par with michelin awarded restaurants in New York. The octopus carpaccio over white eggplant puree was divine. I especially recommend that dish, along with the Moroccan crab salad, as well as the duck.
Even the bread selection was fantastic, with three choices of dips: tuna, tomato paste, and tarama spread with fresh thyme.

I commend the chef's creativity and sophistication. I wish he would open a restaurant in Athens, because I would go once or twice a month! Can't wait to come back here on our next visit to Santorini.
