I have been to this restaurant many times I really enjoy the beautiful courtyard ambiance. On my latest visit I ordered a 350 gram cut of vacio with a side of sautéed mushrooms and a salad. It was cooked to perfection and ooh so good. With 2 glasses of wine and bean soup it was a real deal. All for about $25 us. The added bonus was a terrific jazz artist Bryan savage. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food at a reasonable price.

Lots of people don't know Vacio. It is an argintenian cut, very flavorful, it is a flank steak. The Mexican nationals are familiar and it is very popular. We keep our quality high and our prices reasonable, the music is an added bonus for diners who want something different and special! check us out.

What more can we say? The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and the entertainment is fantastic. Best place in Bucerias - everyone in every resort in Nuevo Vallarta and surrounds should venture there. Gina, Lisa, and Stephanie

A group of 10 of us attended Sonora a la Parrilla restaurant in the town of Bucerias just North of Puerto Vallarta.
It was the restaurants first anniversary party so we made reservations.
The atmosphere was awesome; they had a gentleman playing flute and saxophone and he was amazing.
Due to it being their anniversary they had a special menu prepared. It started with a very tasty cup of bean soup that was so good everyone could have eaten more but we knew there was plenty more offering coming.
The soup was followed by a light salad. We then had a choice of steak or chicken. I had the steak and it was the best I had for some time.
Joe the owner made sure that he visited our table to be sure everyone was comfortable and happy with their meals.
The ambiance was very comfortable and we enjoyed our food immensely and will return on our next vacation.

Thanks very much Joe!!

Stopped in here for dinner--amazingly beautiful brick arch entrance way, colorful/bright table cloths and fancy lighting (some trees even have white lighting wrapped around them; lighting on one tall tree can probably be seen from a couple of miles).

Waiter was very polite and friendly--ordered the small cut (8.8 oz) of the Arrerachera, a traditional/local favorite meat and one of the most popular according to the waiter. Also ordered a side of potatoes.

Huge cut that filled the plate--delicious and well-marinated. Side of potatoes was massive--could have feed three people. Salad was crisp and had all fresh ingredients. Entrée came with a small cup of traditional bean soup (very good), tortillas and sauces--I think the tortillas are hand-made on site and sauces came from historic recipes and preparation, so pretty authentic.

Nice bar, HUGE outdoor venue and lots of setting. To top the evening off, there were a couple of musicians performing live--no cover or fee. Lot of space to dance too!

Great stake-and-potatoes American meal blended and infused with a pleasant mix of local Mexican flare. Hands down the high-end eatery in Bucerias--but nearly the best part...

...what would have easily cost $25-40 in the U.S. (probably more like $50-$80 where I live near San Francisco--and without the entertainment) was less than $15. Wow--gotta love Mexico!!

Not sure where to begin, the atmosphere, food, service and music are outstanding. The owner ensure everyone is happy with their order by visiting each table, in today's age it's rare that anyone inquires, so for me that is refreshing.

I can only say to folks who have not tried the delicious menu and foods, to please go you won't regret your visit.
