Rosa Mexicano, a favorite in Punta Mita, has branched out to Bucerias with a strong challenge to the town's best restaurants. The food is a traditional Mexican fare, but with concessions to the tastes of us gringos. I had mahimahi in a peanut crust with cauliflower sauce. The tables are set outdoors on a wide lawn under trees. We chose mariachi night, and were entertained by a full mariachi band with a variety of guitars, violins and trumpet. This was the first mariachi band we've seen in a Bucerias restaurant and we strongly recommend the experience. The service was friendly and attentive. Prices are on the high end for Bucerias.
