Miguel's is right off the main square in Bucerias providing an entertaining view of the children, families and old timers who come to the square to play, reminisce or just hang out. We were warmly greeted by the owner in a manner similar to how one would be greeted visiting a friend's home. The menu is very extensive and primarily mexican fare. My friends started with margaritas and I had beer. Margaritas came as ordered and my beer was VERY cold and with a chilled glass. We ordered our meals. The food was very good, not outstanding. However I must comment on the wonderful salad I enjoyed. I ordered the garden salad and it was so fresh! Tough to do in Mexico. And only 50 peso. Compare that to 109 peso I paid for a dish of wilted greens at an upscale eatery in PV the week before. I really liked the character of the place. Not pretentious but comfortable with many rustic touches. A place where you feel you can really relax. Staff were all very courteous. For you hockey buffs the owner has an amazing collection of hockey memorabilia including autographed jerseys etc.
With 2 beer and 2 margaritas, a salad and two mains the bill came to 370 pesos. At that price one can afford to leave a very generous tip.
