La Posada de Bucerias
Ranked #4 of 16 Bucerias B&B and Inns

We loved staying at La Posada de Bucerias. It's a new, small, quiet boutique hotel, super clean, modern amenities and nicely finished. The rooms are comfortable, pool area and front courtyard is lovely and the staff are fantastic! We've stayed here twice now and we feel like family! The location is perfect - only two blocks to the beach, one block to catch a bus up or down the coast and lots of restaurants are very closeby. We walked everywhere! THIS is our preferred hotel in Bucerias. Beachfront is over rated when you have a place like this to stay!

Room Tip: Room #207 or one of the suites are prime!

This wonderful pension is different from the all inclusives. It is in a wonderful location, a few minutes from the beach and has a lovely friendliness exemplified by the owner(Terry) and staff who are always there and will go out of their way from giving you tips of great value restaurants to making sure you get an extra towel if you need it. Catch up with everyone in the morning with good coffee and breakfast under the palapa (run by the amiable Gord). Monica who is the manager speaks excellent English and Spanish will make sure you navigate the nuances of "lost in translation" moments. The pension is central to a lot of towns should you wish to take a day off from the beach. Exceptionally clean, Mexican/Spanish architecture, close to all amenities. excellent value.

It's a beautiful small hotel 2 blocks from the beach and close to shopping and many restaurants. We were attracted to its Spanish Colonial design and the very fine art work throughout. The American-built hotel is new, clean and solidly constructed. Terry and his bi-lingual staff are very friendly and will go the extra mile to help with any request, even a car rental. We also appreciated the flat screen TV, Internet and HOT WATER. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience Mexico.

In Bucerias for one week on vacation. Booked room on line, very easy. Terry ( the owner ), could not confirm reservation as my e-mail was not working, day later I received a phone call from Terry himself, calling me direct from Mexico. Very nice customer service I thought. Hotel was the cleanest I ever experienced, very quiet, friendly staff, very secure with gated entrance, beautiful water pressure in the luxurious shower, close to all major attractions and restaurants, can't say enough of our experience. Terry even made sure I got my additional pillow when I asked for a second one. Nice home feel to the place. Always a friendly face ready to greet you at the front desk.
I would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a hotel to friends and family. We look forward to returning in the future. Terry even helped me bring my bags to the street the day we left, how many hotel owners would do this. Thank you for making our yearly vacation one to remember for years to come.

We needed a place to stay for a night before the house we had rented was available . My wife found this place on trip advisor and got in touch with Terry (the owner) by email. He responded quickly and we made arrangements to rent a room. He called us by phone a couple of days before we were leaving to have a quick chat. He said he could arrange to have someone pick us up at the airport but we had lots of luggage so we took a van from the Vallarta airport. A 20 min drive and we were there. The rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. A/C worked perfectly and the beds were comfy. After a restful sleep we got to meet Terry and talked with him for awhile. The hotel is brand new and was built by him, as he is a contractor from New Mexico and knows what he is doing. The place is nicely done with a pool out back. Very clean and modern. We ended up renting a car from him for a very good deal, insurance included. The rate was far better than any of the Rental Agency's at the airport. Mind you it was a very basic Nissan, a little older. We were not planning on driving much so thought it would do the trick. The house we had rented was about 1/2 an hour north of the hotel. As I have said we had alot of luggage and couldn't fit it all. Terry offered to shuttle us to the house and carry all of our luggage to the house, as we followed. He found the house for us and left us. He said to give him a call when we were leaving and he would drive back up and grab our luggage and then take us to the airport. The bridge to Vallarta had been washed out from the floods and was a nightmare to get through during this time. We cruised right through on the way there but looking at the traffic lined up heading north was terrible. Terry probably waited hours to get back to the hotel. But didn't seen to mind. I felt bad about it and if I knew traffic was going to be like that on the way back we would of taken a cab.
So a huge Thank You to Terry and the staff at La Posada. Excellent service and a great place to spend a couple of nights. I forgot to mention that it is just off one of the main streets in Bucerias and easy to walk anywhere you need to go in Bucerias.
thanks
Heath. L

Our stay was wonderful in this amazing place in a quiet residential area. Private gate, beautiful courtyard where delicious coffee is served. Check in is quick, with professional friendly staff. The architecture is traditional style with intricate details. Pottery, artwork is worth seeing. Back pool/outdoor living area, bar area are private. If you are driving & need a secure parking area this place has an underground, clean, well lit parking areas. The suites are all different with modern designed kitchens & bathrooms, comfortable sitting areas, stained glass windows or balconies. The staff are friendly, & share info on restaurants, attractions, the area. The beach is two short walkable blocks away. If you can't actually end up staying in this place just taking a tour to see the artwork and the design of La Posada is truly worth your time. The entire place has been well planned, designed, down to the location of the fish ponds. If you want the experience of sleeping in a luxurious palapa room - this place has it. They have not spared any expense at keeping you comfortable. Would go back in a heart beat & look forward to my next visit. Thanks again for everything.
