“Wonderful Dinner”
Reviewed April 9, 2012

We first dined at Karen's two year's ago and made a trip back there this year to celebrate a birthday. My husband had the filet which looked like it was right out of a Ruth Chris Steakhouse ad like you see in the airports. It was huge, very tender and delicious. I chose the Trio of filet, jumbo shrimp and mahi mahi. It was nice to have real mashed potatoes as a side instead of tasteless rice so many places serve. The fresh grilled asparagus was tasty as well. We thought our service was good but we are on vacation and in Mexico so what is the hurry anyway? We will definitely return.

PS Their chocolate layer cake was excellent, especially with the vanilla ice cream.

“Great Food Slow Service”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Food here was fantastic. Both Fish and Rib dinners were good size portions and drinks were excellent. Service was amazingly slow, but it's Mexico right? Muy Bueno!

“Excellent location, perfect dinner, brunch ok”
Reviewed March 30, 2012

The location is absolutely beautiful. Try to go for dinner - we went when the sun was setting and the lights within are very nice and made for a great atmosphere. We went on a Monday evening and they had live music - my girls enjoyed it and danced before we left. The food was fantastic for dinner - whether it was seafood, steak, chicken or the kids meal, all six of us were very happy. The service was slow - didn't seem to be enough servers, so we wound up leaving without dessert or coffees, but we weren't too fussed. The Sunday Brunch was ok - we didn't realize we could have ordered off the regular menu, so next time we'll do that and I'm sure we'd be happier. We also enjoyed lattes from her Tea Time in the street front but it wasn't open on Sunday, which I thought was a shame.

Cheers!
