“Best little hideaway.....”

If you are looking for a quite, qaint, cozy and very reasonalbly priced get-a-way, then Hotel Palmeras is the place. This hotel is very centrally located: short 5 minute walk to Bucerias Centro, to the beach and to the buses.
The landscape and grounds are very well kept, perfect size pool and only 21 rooms, which 2 of are, penthouses with ocean view. They have a bbq grill at poolside for those nights that you don't want to venture out to eat: throw a steak on the grill, enjoy a cocktail and swim while dinner is cooking.
Our king suite is on ground level, facing the pool with a full kitchen, a/c and is most comfortable. There is a Mega store a short bus ride away where you can stock up on all necessitites and if you forget something there are several markets/stores just a block away.

The staff:, Juan, Ben and the maids are extremely friendly and are making our vacation very memorable.

I would highly recommend this "little piece of Paradise".

Room Tip: Ground floor suites are right at the pool.

Had a wonderful trip to Bucerias, and a wonderful experience at Hotel Palmeras. Felt extremely safe whereever I went. Thanks to Juan the Hotel Manager and all staff for making my holiday a very memorable experience. Would recommend to anyone that has a chance to travel to Bucerias. Looking forward to going back.

Room Tip: Pool side in the new part of the hotel are excellent.

Recently, my girl friend and I spent 2 glorious weeks at the Hotel Palmeras in Bucerias Mexico. We stayed ground level, right next to the pool where the landscaping at the hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Our first Saturday night we enjoyed a pizza party with live music and since the hotel is small and cozy, we were able to meet the other guests. The hotel is extremely popular with Canadians that return every year. The hotel provides your dishes and cooking utensils, but you do have to shop for your groceries, which is no big deal since Mega Store is not that far away and for your fresh veggies just a short walk up the street. Being able to cook our own meals when we felt like it or eating out was a plus. I can't say enough about the way the 3 ladies kept our room clean and always had a smile for us in the mornings. Juan and Ben are the best. They always made sure we were taken care of and provided us with a lot of laughs. A home away from home and can't wait to go back again.

Room Tip: Choose any of the rooms in the new part of the hotel, although I prefer ground level. All the rooms...

I was mostly solo during my stay at this hotel, and felt very comfortable there and very taken care of by Juan and Ben and the maids. Extra efforts were made to bring the hotel people together. The pool area with the surrounding garden is delightful and quiet, and the beach is a 4 minute walk away. There is also a sunroof from which one can see the ocean and beautiful sunsets. It's a special little place with excellent restaurants all within a few blocks of the hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in early March/13. Our room was on the ground level, close to the pool. The maids, as expressed in other reviews were amazing, keeping our room clean and stocked. Both Ben & Juan were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the pizza party on Saturday to help to get to know everyone staying in the hotel. FYI there is no clock radio or clock of any type, no shampoo, no Kleenex so be sure to bring your own. This is a quiet little hotel for the most part, lots of Canadians staying here. Lots of good restaurants near by as well as the beach, shopping etc. The beds are fairly hard, so ask the the front desk for a topper.

Room Tip: Room 12 is cool and quiet and on the ground level facing the pool.

Extremely clean, the maids are wonderful, they leave the rooms spotless from the moment you check in and every day! Front desk Ben and Juan were very helpful, friendly and responded to all requests quickly. The pool and the deck area great, mostly quiet, full of friendly folks with no annoying loudspeakers, noisy splashing events! We did not get to experience the Saturday night Pizza party but heard how fun the evening is, next year we hope to be there for that event. This is Mexico, your travel experience will be different but fun, just leave your North American ideas behind!
