We were very impressed with Tracey's prompt emails re the services that the lodge provided. We enjoyed the spacious room and bathroom. We were also taken with the the build quality of the lodge, choice of fittings, furnishings and finish. Although near the road the setting is very private. We particularly liked the central courtyard which featured a large outdoor table and spa pool. The location was very convenient being 30 minutes from Martinborough and Greytown. We had a fantasitc night, breakfast was included and this was an opportunity to socialise with the other guests. Thoroughly recommended.

Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Summet Lodge and recommend it highly to others.
It's the perfect escape & is slap bang in the middle of everything, just a short drive will get you to everything the Wairarapa has to offer.

Our hosts gave much of their time and energy to make everyone's stay comfortable and didn't skimp on anything. The quality was high and the surrounds relaxed. Loved the home made chocolate cookies in the lounge! Arranging the transport to the local hotel was a bonus and attention to detail with booking arrangements and local sightseeing opportunities was also appreciated. The breakfast was like a banquet and the hosts went the extra mile in every aspect. Recommended for those seeking a little bit of 'social' amidst the rural 'solitude'!

This is certainly the spot to get away from it all. Tracey & Jim are great hosts and they did an awesome job to built this jewel in the Wairarapa. We had a real relaxing and enjoyable time and will certainly recommend it to friends and family.

I saw the New Year in at Summit Lodge and had the most enjoyable and relaxing few days imaginable. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The lodge is extremely comfortable and well appointed. I was really impressed with all the efforts they have taken to be eco-friendly. We were incredibly well looked after by Jim and Tracey - the food was superb - with homemade biscuits in the guest lounge, fresh garden produce for dinner and even a barbecued breakfast - I felt truly spoilt! It was great to get up close and personal with the alpacas too! If you and your friends want a few days away I highly recommend booking out Summit Lodge - you will have a ball - we did!

A trip with friends to celebrate new year. Jim and Tracey where excellent hosts catering for our every need in a great environment. The food was superb, locally sourced produce freshly prepared for us when we required it and the rooms were amazing with rural views and plenty of space to get privacy when you want it.

The house and setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Tracey and Jim are very hospitable hosts, the breakfasts terrific and dinners immaginative and great fun. The guest lounge is sheer luxury with all the latest entertainment gadgets, and oh to lie in the spa pool after a days sightseeing is magic. I loved the alpacas who all seem to have their own personalities. There are loads of winerys to visit quite close by all of whom are very helpful and welcoming. Masterton and Carterton are just a short drive away as is some magnificent scenery. I can thoroughly recommend Summit Lodge as a base to stay whilst exploring the Wairapa.
