“Howard makes this place special”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

When we got to Last Chance, it was 3:10pm and the place closes for lunch at 3pm. However, Howard asked us if we could find another place to go. We told him we have been searching for a place to lunch in the last hour but we couldn't find one. Then, he opened the restaurant exclusively for us and served us a fish fillet sandwich that was delicious and a cold Presidente beer.
The place is small but has a nice atmosphere and Howard is an amazing guy! I recommend you stop by this place when you are traveling by North/Middle Caicos.

“Go Eat Here”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Little, waterfront place serving the best conch fritters you'll ever find and a few other great things too. I swallowed a good many delicious rum punches sharing stories over a four course simple island meal that was our best meal on either North or Middle Caicos. As the evening wound down, we were surprised to see that the bill was about 30% cheaper too. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. Make sure you let them know early in the day, or even better an entire day ahead of time. You can call of just drive by.

“Great Spot”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

We stopped for breakfast/lunch on the way to the Crab Fest. So glad we did. It's a small place with lots of character, including Howard who is a very interesting guy--boat builder, fishing guide, etc. (They used his boat in the movie Cocoon: The Return). He has lots of stories if you have time to sit a spell. The food was excellent, as was the view out the back. We really enjoyed the experience.

“Little Spot in Paradise”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Howard the owner is an absolute character and is worth visiting the place just to meet him alone.I was out there in January just gone and this place is a treasure.

So hospitable and friendly, we passed hours in there just hanging out, listening to Howard's stories and fishing adventures, talking to his wife Cheryl, playing that ring toss game (which Howard swears he's a champion at) and eating the best food the islands has to offer.

It is no exaggeration or hyperbole when I say that the burgers he serves are the tastiest, sweetest ones I have ever eaten. Done to perfection, as are the fries, these come highly recommended. Also the Conch soup he prepares is delicious too.

Make sure you take a little walk out the back of the place and see the stunning view he has over Bottle Creek. If he ever extends onto the back it will be an even better place to stop by on your way around these small islands.

I can't wait to go back in January next year, catch up with him and get well fed and looked after in a little spot in paradise.
