“Nice place to stretch your legs”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

This is lovely little gem of a place just outside Glencoe Village. I normally go there to stretch my legs out the day after a big Munro day. This time of year is lovely no matter what the weather as all the autumn colours are in full flow. If you have a dog then they just love this walk around the loch

“Short & sweet man-made loch”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

This is a man-made loch (which strikes me as mad given how many REAL ones Scotland has!) and really is a very short walk around the edge of the loch. It's quite pretty and is a good site for landscape photos but isn't really worth going out of your way for. If you are in the area it's worth popping up for a look and for people staying in the nearby B&Bs it's definitely worth a look.

Don't go out of your way for it but if you have the time, check it out. If I could I'd have given it 3.5/5

“Breathtaking views!”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Perfect place and very quiet! Pray for a sunny day, and no wind gust, and you'll have the perfect place to take great photos! It is pretty easy to arrive there, park, and have different signs for different walks along the way. Recommended!

“So beautiful”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

A wee gem hidden away behind Glencoe village. Easily accessable by car, a nice gentle walk round the lochan and given the right conditions, reflections in the water that are so beautiful.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

There are three walking paths to take from the parking near the village of Glencoe - easy, moderate, and hard. All are relatively short so definitely worth your time.
We took the moderate one and were definitely not disappointed. Both lovely forest walk and then at the little lake/loch - amazing views.
