Nice little aquarium, not a huge place but there's lots of things to see & do, especially for the kids.
Admission is a little expensive for what it is, so try checking online for discount vouchers, there's usually some around. There's parking right by the aquarium, but it's a pay & display. There's a small playpark outside, as well as some extra animals to see (seals, chickens & monkeys.) There's an underwater walkway towards the end of the aquarium which is fab.

Lots of things aimed at the kids, there's paper & crayons dotted around for them to take rubbings of different fish/animals throughout the aquarium. You can also pay a bit extra to get a guide & quiz for the kids to do, but no interest from 4 & 6 year old. Maybe worth buying for older children.

My friend and I visited recently during an afternoon. The car parking was 80p an hour, and in retrospect the student admission price seemed a bit expensive considering the size of the exhibit. Really interesting sights and otter/seal talks, but just seemed over a bit quick so take your time throughout.

Fab place - so much to see and do - just make sure you leave enough time to do it all. On site parking. Close to the beach great for all ages

Really great displays, and super bubble glass windows that you can put your head in and feel like you are inside the tank with the fish! Student tickets are about £7 and adult tickets £8 ish - considering it's actually far larger than it appears it's really good value for money. The otters are gorgeous and the experience as a wholes gets progressively better towards the end - the sea tunnel is brilliant!

A good place to visit on a cold, wet day though it gets busy on those kinds of days. What can I say? lots of fish, marine creatures, amphibians and now it has monkeys (no, not sea monkeys) in the Amazon display.

Comparable to other similar aquariums with viewing ports and an "underwater tunnel" that gives a from below view of the large tank.
