As part of the term plan we arranged to take the Beavers and Scouts on a trip to this fantastic little attraction, we were warmly greeted and was told a tonne of local heritage information by the volunteers (funny and knowledgeable). All of the rooms were explorerd and even the smallest of things came along with a great tonne of information. It's such a fun and interactive place for people to visit and spend a few hours learning a whole deal of local information. Great for all ages as lots of buttons to press, activities to do and information to learn.

We will definitely be back and wish them all the best in the future.

It is always a pleasure to receive such positive feedback after a visit especially when we interact with a wide variety of age groups.
We look forward to meeting you in the future when new members join the beaver, cubs and scouts.

I went to help supervise a group of Cubs on a visit. Very helpful (& funny) staff. Extremely knowledgable and explained everything at a level suitable for the group.
Interesting artifacts and stories regarding the history of the building and the TVLB.
I've lived in this area the vast majority of my 50 odd years, and worked in the area of Tynemouth for several years, and apart from seeing the TVLB vehicle on the streets didn't really understand the TVLB and what they do.
Well worth a visit, it's free but they appreciate a donation

Absolutely fascinating museum, with hundreds of artefacts. Dave was incredibly helpful and gave a brilliant tour, we learnt so much from what we thought was going to be a fairly small place (stayed 2 hours!). Highly recommended!

Hopefully we will see you again in the future as there are still plenty artefacts to explore.
