This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Since we were last here Thomson's have taken it over & updated it. The rooms are much better, we had the Royal Suite which gave us a huge bed, lounge area, a small terrace but a spiral staircase took us up to a terrace area with double day bed, two sun lounges & a hot tub. It was fantastic to be able to have this private area all to ourselves. The food was as equally as good as last year, we had half board so had access to breakfast & evening meal. The hotel also had a spa, gym & 3 swimming pools. We will definitely try & book there again next year.

Room Tip: Up grade if possible rooms are best if you ask for sea view.

Me & my husband wanted a children free relaxing holiday & this is exactly what we got here.
We were aware of the recent makeover & also being new to Thomson. Once we got checked in we were totally amazed by the size of the room & not only did we have a huge queen size bed but also a jacuzzi bath & our own terrace with sun loungers overlooking the sea. This was a junior suite & It was perfect from start to finish along with the beautiful weather.
Staff very friendly & hardworking. Whilst they did offer a few daytime activities, yoga, pilates etc, it was a shame that not many guests participated as they really just wanted to relax & really do nothing!
The food was lovely & plentiful.
3 pools with lovely double bed comfortable loungers which was a nice touch. We did not need to get the towels down early as always found a spot but some days we did use our own terrace. Maybe in high season this may change.
Not much to do outside complex to be fair but opp hotel is a pretty village with quirky pathways to a small selection of bars & shops. The beach is a 20 min walk away but is beautiful.
Overall if you are looking to do nothing then this is just what you want. Quiet & peaceful so much so i can honestly say this is the most sleep i have had on a holiday & the bed was soooooo comfortable too.
Evening entertainment is a bit low key but resident singers very good.
Menorca is beautiful & we shall surely return some day.
Nick the rep was always on hand for advice & welcomed any teething problems so he could fix but we didnt have any.

Room Tip: Recommend a junior suite for a few extras. We was in room 106. Lots of sun all day long.

The hotel is new to Thomson couples and you can tell by the fitters installing blinds on the windows during your stay and the overworked staff, however those staff are so energetic, pleasant and eager to make sure you have a fantastic holiday I give the hotel full marks, Gabor the entertainment rep is so friendly and always on hand for walks, games and information he has a game called Sjoelbak which is easy to learn and very addictive, great staff make a great holiday

Booked this hotel with some apprehension, given the photos were only "planned appearances" due to the over winter refurbishment/makeover ready for becoming as a Thomson's Couples hotel.

We arrived around 12:30 to be greeted by Nick the Thomson's rep and Lena one of the hotel receptionists. Initially we were told the room would not be ready until 2pm, but while we were doing the sign in paperwork the room became ready. We had only booked a double room but we were given a Junior Suite with Spa bath. However we guess this was due to the fact the hotel refurb was still ongoing and they were juggling the only available rooms. Nice touches were a glass of CAVA on arrival and a small bottle of Cava an Chocs in the room.

Throughout the week it was apparent the refurb was behind schedule with numerous deliveries of furniture etc and workmen in numerous rooms. Although we had no real issues with our room, we did hear lots of other guest complaining about teething issues. While we were there here were lots of "suits" with clipboards, I guess snagging.

The WiFi is slow and erratic and only really available in the reception area at the moment.

The food in the main dining room was good and varied, albeit often not labelled. The Italian Restaurant, which you can use once a week, was good, but the service did depend on which waiter(s) were on duty. Lunchtime snacks were good too, with choices of several Salads, pizzas and sandwiches

I would recommend the All Inclusive option, which gave one on the best choices of drinks I've had in a Thomson AI, and not restricted to local brands, and if you did want the Premium brands there was only a modest supplement rather than full price. Also at some mixed board places AI guests can feel inferior, this was not the case here. However it is the staff that make this place wonderful - all very friendly and helpful. The reception team had a lot of "teething issues" to deal with and they did really well to keep their cool and stay pleasant.

As the hotel had only been open this season for less than a week and they were still getting ready- I have to say it has lots of potential to be a great place for Couples and certainly not for youngsters looking for rowdy nightlife as the hotel entertainment is low key and the local area is very quiet. The in-house musicians improved as the week went on, really as they got settled in too. The acoustics in the Bar are not brilliant. The chairs in the bar lacked pads, but we understand they are "on order".Some excellent walks to do in the area, but do take drinks as there are very few bars once out of Binebeca and early in the season of the few most were still closed.

All in all an excellent hotel and excellent staff - Nick the Thomson's rep was going the extra mile to see that everyone was satisfied.

This hotel has the most amazing position over looking the crystal blue sea. We were the first Thomson guests to ever stay there. Some teething problems with the room but first class service from our rep Nick and from the hotel management. By far the best hotel in Menorca and we have stayed in many great places on the island. The food is varied and beautifully cooked and presented.Breakfast was amazing! Mostly cooked fresh right infront of you.
Upgrading to all inclusive is a must. We booked this in advance but you can upgrade on site. The all inc drinks and lunch menu is vast. Not just your usual local stuff but we enjoyed baileys coffees, gordons gin and tonic, malibu and pineapple and some fantastic cocktails.Be sure to upgrade to a sea view. Its worth every penny. Best wishes to the team at Vanity Eden for your first season post refurb. Looking forward to returning next year.

Room Tip: Sea view upgrade essential to fully appreciate the location

Spent 1 week here and we both loved every minute of it. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Stayed half board and the price we paid could just not fault it, excellent selection of food from the buffet, where the chef will cook you a fresh omelette every morning if you ask and look for the fresh food at the grill area in the evening where they will cook that to order for you.We had a jacuzzi room with balcony overlooking the pool. Jacuzzi rooms are in the original hotel the one on the far right looking down on a satellite map. Yes the fixings are a little out dated but adds to the charm off the place. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean with fresh towels every day. The staff were all ways happy, helpful and extremely hard working. The hotel overlooks the fishing harbour and the apartments the other side which looks like a model village, my wife nick named it lilliput. The resort itself is very quiet with only a few restaurants with bars. 1 supermarket and 1 souvenir shop. So not a place for single teenagers but there were a lot of young couples at the hotel and good for couples with young children. Head for the beach from the right end of the village from the hotel (ask at reception for beach towels, very handy) approx 15 mins walk, where you pass a slightly larger supermarket that is cheaper than the one in the town, we purchased fresh bread, cheese and ham with a 1.5ltr bottle of don simon sangria approx 5 quid the lot, nearly every lunchtime. All in all an excellent place to stay and relax. We will have no hesitation in going back here.

Just returned from a weeks stay in this excellent hotel. Very good value for the money. Nice and quiet, excellent resort for those wanting a relaxing holiday. The staff at the hotel very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is what you would expect in a buffet. Waitresses and chefs very friendly. Our room was right by the pool near reception. Very clean and quiet. Maid service every day. Some of the best nights sleeps I have had for ages. Minorca is still wonderful. Feel very safe where ever you are. Will definitely be going back to the Eden again.
