I am writing this as I enjoy a glass of the Binifadet Chardonnay at home in the UK. It still tastes wonderful but......... We are missing the sunshine and fantastic food that goes with the Binifadet experience. We have had a villa on Menorca for several years now but only went to this bodega for the first time last year. Now it's one of our 'must do's' when we are there. The tour although not very long, is extremely informative. There are no language barriers as all the guides speak several languages. Ria in particular has always been really helpful, in fact thanks to her we are enjoying the wine at the moment! The tour ends with tastes of the wines produced, local cheeses and wine based James and jellies, all for free! But don't leave straight away........... Sit and enjoy the food on the terrace. It is very relaxing, sunny, tasty and fantastic value. See you again soon :)

This vineyard was recommended to us by a family member as a must visit whilst on holiday in Menorca, and it didn't disappoint. We arrived about 15 mins before the next tour and were offered coffee whilst we waited. The tour was free and lasted about half an hour, it was both informative and interesting our host was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that were asked during the tour. After the tour each guest is given the opportunity to pick two wines to taste, this is where I slipped up as I was the driver so it was left to my wife to sample the four different wines on my behalf and she assures me they were all excellent. If you feel peckish after your tour they do an selection of tapas, which was very tasty, and if you fancy taking some of their wine at home they can ship it back to Blighty at a very reasonable cost

This small bodega is a hidden gem. They offer short wine tours of their plant, taking about 30 minutes followed by a tasting with nibbles. A hands on bodega with labour intensive operations, they give you a real insight into how they create their marvellous wines , then let you taste some. Sylvia, our hostess and guide was fluent in English but spoke other languages too. She was a delight to listen to-enthusiasm and a happy smile throughout our experience. Do try out this place. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and be prepared to be tempted to buy some wine. They ship it to your home either free of charge( to Spain addresses ) or a very small fee to other Europe addresses.

We visit the bodega with our friends on regular basis during the year. The staff are extremely helpful and the food they serve on the terrace is delightful. Last year we even had some boxes of wine shipped back to the UK to use as gifts for friends and family. Well worth a visit to sample the charming wines, particularly the sparkling rose on a warm day in the summer.
