“Nice 3 star hotel”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Moving into this hotel from another rather awful experience we really appreciated a well maintained three star hotel. The room was clean, offered everything you need including a nice balcony. It is not a modern house (anymore), the pool is really big and they also have a children playground. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast with a nice variety also offering local products. Breakfast staff had a little trouble with filling up the buffet.

The location is close to the city center of Santo Andre with shops, restaurants, etc. around offering enough parking spaces. Getting to the increadable beaches you need a car.

Our room faced the poolsite, during the night very close was a big party somewhere. Closing all windows couldn't keep the noise totally outside. But I guess it's not every day.

We definitly can recommend this hotel, reasonable price for the offer in that area.

I stayed in the hotel for a period of 3 nights, in August, the High Season. The hotel decoration, is kind of dated, i would say from the 80's or 90'. It could use some renovation. However, it has an amazing pool, really well located, which allows it to be bathed by sunshine, during all day, keeping a ver nice average temperature. The staff was really nice, even tough some of them seems to be interns. We dined one night in the restaurant, since they we're habing an offer of the child menu, and the food was weel cooked, and for a reasonable price. Breakfast options we're diverse, and it never lacked in terms of quantitiy, with a good level of refurnishing. The hotel dists around 15m by car, from the nearest beaches, so it's a good vacation option. So, on the downside, i would say only the old decoration.

Well, truly it is not a 5* hotel, but it fits! Rooms certainly deserve to be updated, but breakfast helps you to forget that part!.

I was there for two nights with my husban and two kids. Staff is great, very friendly, though a bit absent minded...

At least, this hotel wins for its location very next to some of the most beutiful beaches in Portugal.

Nothing here really ostentatious, furniture and decoration are rather basic but the essential is. The facility is clean and well maintained, the restaurant offers a varied menu and quality breakfast. Hotel crew is very pleasan. Wifi is for free and finally, the pool of good dimention is rather nice.
In conclusion, sobriety and respect are better than luxury and contempt

If you want a clean, basic hotel and want to avoid lots of tourists than this is a good choice and free wifi. Sure it's in the middle of nowhere, but that's why you can enjoy the peace and quiet!

Very close to good beaches, such as Melides and S. Torpes and an excellent outside pool for the hot summer months. The bar is very good and you can enjoy the stars outside in the evening.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast until 11:00 am and the restaurant meals were good, although the service could be more efficient.
You can either relax on the beaches or at the pool, but if you want to do some sightseeing, then I would suggest Sines, Santiago de Cacem, Porto Covo and Beja (all within a 30 min. to 1 hour drive). You can also drive to Sesimbra and Setubal for boat trips, dolphin watching and good hiking walks,
If you're travelling with kids you can visit Badoca Safari Park which is approx. a 10 to 15 min. drive.
Have stayed here twice with family and friends and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a pool view.

The service of the hotel is efficient, even if they can improve their efficiency specially at the restaurant. The rooms are fine for a three star hotel, but some of them have a view over the restaurant roof, that is not very nice. The hotel location is quite good, if you are going to work at nearby Sines, otherwise the place is not interesting. Ok, it is not very far from the sea. In the summer the outside pool is quite good.

Basic hotel in the middle of nowhere. Getting to the beach it's either a very long hike or a 10 minute drive.
