“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed August 12, 2014

Beautiful beach, there were a lot of people but it was still very nice. Blue water, white sand.. A little piece of paradise.

“Could Not See the Beach for People”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

We visited in July from Trapani, Which is a lovely bus journey. However on arrival the beach was so crowded it was difficult to see the sand, or the view itself, for people. There were places to sit at the far ends of the beach, away from the crowds. I would avoid going in July as it is so busy. The place was very beautiful and out of peak season would be stunning.

“Seaweed, highly crowded, expensive in everything. Poor drinking water”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

Nice beach, windy, but no public open and free showers (you have to pay for the showers on the beach, whereas in other parts of Sicily you don't). The drinking water quality in general is salty, compared to other places in Sicily, so you have to buy and carry huge packs of (expensive) bottles of water. Very few mini-markets, crowded. Eating out is expensive (y-day we paid 60 € for three normal pizzas, two salads, one water and beer, and today 17 € for four granitas, three croissants and a fruit juice, at a very normal and simple place out of the centre). On the beach, you may rent beds and an umbrella for 10 € a day (always ask for a regular fiscal receipt, please, here and anywhere!). No changing cabins and toilets at the bed renting places. We are now staying at a small apartment which is worth 500 € per week at 1000 €/week, with a discount already applied). Sorry, a nice place but expensive and improvable.

If you're thinking about spending some days by the beach in Sicily, pleas come here! The beach is huge, water crystal-clear, night-life good...a perfect and unexpected spot :)

“Wonderful beach - one of the highlights of our trip”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We travelled to San Vito lo Capo from Palermo on a bus which took about 2 hours. The buses are not very regular but do leave at their assigned times. We went for the 11am bus and left at 6pm – you can pay on the bus. While some may think half a day is not enough, it was enough time for us to have lunch, lay out on the beach, go for a swim and relax. The beach is clean and lovely sand, and the water is crystal clear! It was heavenly. You can hire two chairs and umbrella for 10-20 Euros for the day. We had such a good time we visited this beach twice. There are so many restaurant choices for lunch of dinner if you stay for dinner.
