Description: The family Bica originates from a small village called Scurati near Trapani in Western Sicily. Nicolo, the chef, returns to his city of origin, after a significant international experience in Switzerland, England and Germany. This knowledge and experience in culinary preparation is offered to his customers. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing, the staff strives to make you feel at home. We offer daily fresh fish and seafood, traditional sicilian cuisine on a high, but yet puristic level and excellent wines. We serve exclusively local products.

This was recommended to us by Mira Spaggia hotel. It was a great find. Best meal in San Vito Lo Capo. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Very good value, especially the wines!Loved being able to sit outside and watch the "Passagiata"

“a jewel among the chaos”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

When we heard everyone at the outdoor tables speaking Italian and read the menu we knew it was our kind of place.
Our first dinner was deliciously fresh mussels in a red sauce and wonderfully light homemade cheese ravioli in an authentic bolognese. We were very impressed that the wine list included alcohol content and Titsiana the maitre d was both informative and helpful with selection.
We decided to go back the next night and for our second dinner had two great pastas. The gnocchi in gorgonzola with pistacios and busiate with tomatoes and shaved ricotta. Both great but the gnocchi, was sensational and probably the best pasta we had in Sicily.
San Vito is loaded with restaurants with "tourist" menus where you're given way too much of the same food and no dining experience.
San Vito a Tavola is a place to have one among charming companions, led by excellent staff, with a reasonably priced and good wine list and of course great food at fair prices.

After trying five other restaurants that were recommended by locals this was the winner for us. The food and the service is excellent, you can tell these guys love what they do. Recommended!

“Really good food.”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

Nothing to complain about this restaurant except for the fact that in my opinion it is rather on the expensive side when compared to other restaurants around Sicily. Since we were just visiting San Vito Lo Capo on our way to other villages in the area, I can't compare this restaurant with others from the same village especially with regards to food quality, but what made me choose this place was the fact that you don't get staff outside fishing for clients. The road is full of such restaurants, the majority of which offer tourist menus and promise very low prices, with staff trying to do their utmost to persuade people getting in. Not this restaurant though. As you pass by this place you find friendly staff on the inside ready to greet anyone who chooses this restaurant at his own discretion. Moreover food is great!

“Excellent”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

I truly love Sicilian food and rarely feel the need to consult trip advisor when in Sicily as it is almost hard to be disappointed. Not so when sailing into Capo San Vito - our first meal in a very picturesque restaurant opposite the sea was so indescribably bad that we almost sailed back out. Our faith was restored at San Vito A Tavola. Great food and service and a particularly friendly sommelier who introduced us to a fab insolia wine. 4 of us had different starters and main courses and all were delicious. If you want to stay away from the tourist menus look no further.
