“Nice dinner in slightly exotic surroundings”
Reviewed May 13, 2012

I really enjoyed dinner on the front terrace of the restaurant. The menu is a mix of Italian/sicilian and North African, and this is reflected in the decor (decorative brass plated and other ornaments/tent like canopes etc).I started with the Antipasti della Casa which again were a mix of cuisines:sicilian caponata and panella, spanish croquettes and a Tunisian brik.I had a couscous with fish which was a little different, served separately in a broth, which had to be spooned over the couscous, but nicely and delicately spiced. The pistachio parfait with honey again beautifully fragranced, but maybe just a little sweet for my liking.Service was friendly and discreet,a little too discreet at the end.I had to go to find the waiter who was having his dinner with the rest of the staff. The price for the meal with a excellent glass of red wine, water, coffee and tip was 43Euros,just a little too much in my opinion, but nevertheless a good meal.

“Overrated”
Reviewed November 28, 2011

Surrounding very pleasant but the food was very, very salty which killed any flavour there may have been - overpriced.

“they know their spices - rare tastes in San Vito Lo Capo”
Reviewed September 23, 2011

After a few days in San Vito Lo Capo we were yearning for a change in our food - and found it here in this tunesian themed restaurant: cumin, mint, coriander, cardamom add a unique twist to the well prepared food. Try the squid in warm citrus marinade (marinata) or the couscous variation - see photos. Friendly and flexible service, wonderful atmosphere - we will be back there!

“Completely overpriced, slow service”
Reviewed July 11, 2011

If you want to eat your fill you have to order half of the menu. The portions are tiny (order the rolled swordfish for example and you will get not more than four bites) but the taste is very good. The service was very slow, the waiter ignored us most of the time. So if you do not look like having thousands of euros in your wallet, do not go there.
